I bet this has been asked here before, but I couldn't find the answer. Sorry, I'm new.
How is everyone getting such great screen shots of their designed holes and courses? I'm seeing some terrific shots - mostly from a high angle.
I have XBox One. I just can't get rich screen shots or hole previews like I'm seeing posted here.
Thanks everyone!

I'm not a console guy, but I don't think it's possible to get the screenshots you are seeing on a console. On PC, there are commands to remove the UI and free fly the camera. That's how we are able to get nice shots. Yet another reason why if you are serious about design, to do it on PC.

I'm a console designer so I definitely understand the struggle, and the new game makes it way tougher to take screenshots since the camera motion is way more limited on shots. The only way I can take good pics is to play the previous hole, hit to the tee box (or wherever you want to take the pic from), then set up for a lob wedge chip (mess around with different yardages, though, since sometimes a 25 yard shot will work better), try to look downwards at the shot, then crop out the numbers and your golfer. A simpler way that I've found is just to act like you're publishing, take a pic, and then crop out the lines of the little screenshot box, but you've probably tried that and plus, that's limiting since you're going to get more of the portrait style pic as opposed to the nice horizontal landscape pic. One other thing you can try that I've seen from other people on console do is to just take a pic with the red line in there, since, yes, it's a little annoying, but it takes up an extremely small percentage of the actual pic. Anyway, as Crazycanuck1985 said, screenshots on console absolutely suck, and it's way worse on the new designer, so, good luck! But you can try the different things I mentioned and maybe get some acceptable screenshots.

I designed a lot of courses for the old Links games on PC and you're right, Canuck - the game platform is a lot harder to master than the fine control I could get on a PC.

Doesn't have anything to do with control. I use an Xbox controller do design on PC just fine. It's just alot more responsive and snappier.

I was kind of hoping for a cinematic option in the designer that drops all the menu/info stuff. There's little tricks you can use that have been stated above. The new game is more difficult than before because you cannot zoom around the plot during the round. You might have to actually play the ball to the area you want to capture. Total pain.
