Am I right in thinking 3ft of elevation is about a yard of distance a hole is playing??
Also how do you guys read and adjust to the wins (meter only). Are there any basic rules you start with?

Yes - elevation is 3ft per yard - as a general rule. Wind can affect that though.
Wind itself - 1 yard per mph is a decent starting point (both down/into - and also cross winds. One green 'box' is about a yard btw......
From there, just tweak it slightly for how YOU feel it affects the shots...

Thanks you very much ππ½ππ½ What is half a bar of wind roughly in MPH?

Thanks again.
Another question is when the elevation is so severe donyou have to adjust a bit for example on a short par 3 that is 140 yards and 30 feet below. Also Iβm thinking you need to do calculations for how far the hole is playing but also how far your club is playing too.

I agree with every thing so far. With elevations personally I went off the books so to speak. Visualize the angle the ball will hit the green. Take a mental note of that particular shot and after a bunch of rounds it ALMOST come naturally. The steeper the decline the less itβs going to roll....depending in the green hardness. A little more work here and I have not played any ArticFury courses yet.
Iβm bewildered putting without A putting though

Rule of thumb uphill elevation ranges from -1 yard/3 feet for LW to -1.2 Yard/ 3 ft for 5I and longer. Downhill is more like +1 yard/4 feet for all clubs, but this breaks down some at drastic elevation changes.

Yea haha there has to be a limit to when the ball flight is just going straight down on a 140 yard hole that is 40ft down so the original calculations need to be taken with a pinch of salt or some kind of limit

In 2019 wind straight into your face was not 1 yard per mph. I did extensive testing on that, and it was ~1.66 yards per mph into, and like .7 when behind. Wind at an angle (think 130deg, was 1 yard per mph). I'm not sure if it's changed with the new game, but from all I've read so far, it's not.

Wind with has somewhat less effect. Both those numbers were with Pro club set, for Masters it was larger. I have not charted 2K21 yet.
