Nobody here may know the answer to this so I may have to actually try it or go to the HB or 2K forums, but here goes.
In 2019 the wind and slope hardly affected Beginner clubs, more for Pro, and even more for Master (this was verified by the HB people on their forums). I am wondering if that carries over to the five levels on the new game. It would be nice if it did not, because then you could get some idea of wind and slope effects using Pro-Am, without having to worry about the difficulty of Perfect tempo and Swing plane. It would be nice for us chart-making folks (you know, the ones the feel players look down on so).

That’s not true at all. Wind effected beggnner clubs on 2019.

That’s not true at all. Wind effected beggnner clubs on 2019. I said it "hardly affected" Beginner clubs - as per HB_Craig or someone over there it affected the more difficult clubs more with Masters the most. Some of that was due to the higher ball flight of the longer club set, but not all.

I've found the wind plays the same in 2019 and this game, likewise the lie. It's basically the same game just doozied up. Putting different of course, and much worse.
Wind affected beginner clubs just the same as master clubs in 2019, no difference. Admittedly with master clubs on Xbox I rarely hit the ball where I wanted.

Anecdotal and not based on anything it feels to me like hanging lies affect the starting line of a shot more than before, particularly with longer clubs

Agree re wind.
Ball above feet lies play the same as 19, but ball below feet has a LOT more effect in this game (it didn't have a lot of effect at all in 19)

I would just like to say Rob, that the only thing that makes the ball go left or right is the actual spot the ball is on, not where your feet are. I tested this out in TGC2019, and it was definitely eye opening - you could be standing on a 30 degrees side-slope but if the ball was on a flat spot it would go straight. I know that is the not the way it is IRL, but it is in 2019 at least. I have not tested it in 2K21 but I would assume it was the samee.
