Well, I can see after a few moments practice that the putting stoke is going to be a little different in the new game, but what is going to KILL my putting is the movement of aim from the D-pad to the Left stick - no more discrete clicks to count. That is going to cost me at least 5-6 strokes a round. I had spent a lot of time developing a formula of dot speed vs. clicks (I know, I know, you purists look down on that sort of thing, but I have a LOFT problem) and now will have to figure out a totally new way to aim. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Yes, I use clicks for everything except putting, ( wind, lie ) the left stick I find is doing the same job in the new game but I would prefer to use the d pad too. I suppose the controller buttons etc could be re-mapped?

I love the different strategies employed by folk on here. I'm a total feel player. Tried all the mathematical stuff and my head hurt, so now I just grip it and rip it (usually into the water).

One complaint I have about the new game is that the "moving dots" are much harder to see than in 2019. That and the Lie grid in heavy rough is also almost impossible to make out.

what is clicking? i've never used it and i don't hear a click on my xbox controller? Well it is not important now, but there is no actual "click", when aim was controlled by using the D-pad each brief press of the key moved the cursor a discreet distance, and that was considered a click.

what is the best camera setting for putting i used the click method but i can't seem to find how i can move alomg the grids and count the beads I was having the same problem. I think you need to turn off the setting - Approach & Putting Cameras in the Cameras & Presentation tab in the settings. Once your putting on the green, hit Y on Xbox or triangle on PS controllers which allows the worm cam view from there just move your left thumb stick forward and backwards to check the beads.
Hope this helps.
