Hello, Sometimes when I play some of these really heavily planted courses I wonder where the galleries of people watching the event would stand and what all that plantation would look like on days 3-4 of the event. I'm still trying to strike that balance in my design so my latest one has virtually no ornamental plantation other than bushes and trees to create a park like feel with plenty of room for fans of the game to mill around. It was a risky thing to do especially for the "U.S. Open Contest" but you know what I'm here to have fun and try and push the envelope and shake up the Status Quo. I also wanted to give the golfer the feeling of being on stage and being watched from all angles and the lack of extra vegetation allows for easier multiple set up. It's really unfortunate that I don't have nice large bleachers for grandstanding and galleries of spectators to plop down. Maybe they will come and I will be able to update my latest design. For now you have to use a little imagination to put those in place. Good luck with your designs, -Mike
