For info, we are setting to PRO level with the below setup : (SloanerTW you can setup Society with these settings making sure you set the TOP difficulty setting to PRO before changing anything else)
Pro
swing timing - on
distance control meter - off
distance control assist - off
no putt previews
pro visions wind, lie, lie angle, elevation, true shot, trajectory - all off
scout camera - ON
lie and green grid - on
aim and wind marker - marker only and meter only
distance display - carry

Follow that, play the rounds...post your STROKEPLAY scores...lets GO! I know we normally run Stableford, but I am unaware if I can setup societies to run in Stableford mode, so just do Stroke for now.
So did I get it right that for this six-event test, we have to play as usually (local game and post the results) and then for the rest of the season we are playing inside the society? I will get hands on with this asap, sorry for the delay but I was just trying to collect as much game coins as possible. This year is gonna be a factor given that you spend them on both equipment and online societies...  |

yes mate, you got it. We now have 3 societies available Haven't put the settings in the PC Society yet as we are awaiting the patch on PC that sorts out the problems with locking the skill level. PS4 has already been patched I believe. |

I am getting a little lost with this ATM Dave.
So we are playing stroke play out of the socialites and taking pics as we did last season? Starting on the 7th??? Not the 31st?
Also when we start to play society based games does that alter our game play settings automatically? Or do we will need to change them?

It's just so Dave can get an idea of where players are at, so he can make the teams as even as possible. |

For anyone that has played on stroke the conversion is easy. Its 36 + how much underpar you were eg 36 + 10under = 46pts. Or 36 - Overpar egg. 36 - 10over = 26.
Edit: this only works if you do not get a triple bogey or worse |

Play however you like. Stable ford. Stroke. Whatever is easiest. I will do the maths. Stroke would be easiest but I’m not fussy. I need to be able to see scores per hole on your screen shots though

I could see them, but not big enough to see scores. I obviously trust you, so will use the scores you typed in anyway.
For everyone else, please ensure you use settings posted and post your screenshots as soon as you can. I will be finalising on Saturday, and formulating final teams via a 'my son is going to do it' method for evening out the scores, which will be revealed on Sunday morning, to start MONDAY 7th SEPTEMBER.
Scores all need to be in and posted by SATURDAY 5th SEPTEMBER to allow me time to do all the admin.
