Pandora Season 11 Signups are open. 

Please register your interest here if you wish to continue with Pandora in the new 2k21 version of the game. It will still be run outside of the societies to keep it cross platform. 

While I understand everyone will be on a bit of a learning curve, we are all in the same boat so let's just hit the ground running. 

Here's there current player list from Season 10.
Please just indicate if you wish to play or not and I will build teams from there.



Season 11 will consist of (undetermined) rounds of round robin golf, with teams of 2 competing in a Stableford contest. Each team has been built using a combination of players to try and attain as even a spread of handicap as possible using data from players themselves and previous Pandora scoring.

Each player will play the two rounds posted on this thread, and submit their scores via a screenshot. we will take the scores from the Society Leaderboards. Those scores are then combined to give an average score for that round eg:

Player 1 rd 1 : 45 rd 2 : 50 45+50=95
Player 2 rd 1 : 40 rd 2 : 39 40+39=79

95 + 79 = 174 divided by 4 (rounds) = 43.5 <- this becomes your team averaged score


The spreadsheet will show the teams, rounds, conditions etc that you have to play. All conditions must be met for a round to be valid.
Each player must play via the PLAY NOW function and setup accordingly. It's very quick and easy.


Pandora Will be IN A SOCIETY

Players can practise on any pin and tee apart from those we are using in the contest.

You have a week to play and submit your scores on this thread.

Any player who DOES NOT PLAY should communicate with me first. Should they get in touch, their score for that week will be an average of ALL players scores for the whole round.  Should they NOT get in touch, their score will be an average of ALL players scores for the whole round, minus 5 points. These scores are clearly displayed at the bottom of the SCOREBOARD tab on the spreadsheet.

I am also open for more players and round robin matches will be confirmed on the weekend before we start. 


EDIT : I will be starting Season 11 on 7th September! I will setup a little practise tournament from 31st Aug to Sept 6th to acclimatise everyone and get some settings worked out, then away we go. 
Please bear in mind I want players who will complete the season and as the game is new to us all, this may take some working out. Should this be impossible to maintain I will be asking for a PC and a PS4 player to setup the Society and we will run it as an admin team.

Season 11 start date is 24th August.

Gives me 3 days to test and communicate settings required and update the spreadsheet if need be. I'm sure we'll be ok    If not, we'll all learn together and hash out the best method.

At the end of the day, if it doesn't work I'll go XBOX only and society, then ask a PC and PS4 player to set one up identically to mine and be an administrator, but I really dont want to do that.

Not me Dave. I enjoyed the course selections and the challenge but with the wide range of ability amongst these players (with me being near the low end) I cannot see any way to make a level playing field and I am tired of being cannon fodder. Good luck to all.

Sorry you feel that way. 

I had a couple of late entries this season which meant there was an imbalance, but using data from this season and the last I should be able to form much more levelled teams going forward.

Your choice of course, and with the gap being closed (swing-wise) in game, it could lead to a much closer contest. 

Let me know if you change your mind, but I'll take you off the list as of now.

I had a blast this season and will certainly be looking out for season 12, but im trying to keep society play minimal at first while I figure it all out and not sure when exactly I'll purchase it, so I'm going to step away for season 11. Thanks for making and maintaining such a solid society!

If you've got any space I'd like to put my name down. PC player. Looking to get a few extra rounds in with the new game and looking for something a little different and Stableford fits the bill. Already pre-ordered PGA 2K21 (on all 3 systems!). No problem fitting in 2 rounds per week, every week.

Rosebowl88 I'm still umming and ashing about whether I'm going to buy the new game straight up. Most likely is that I will, and I will play. $100 is a fair chunk of change.

So, count me as a definite maybe.
