What help do you need on PC? Someone to setup and run a Society, to run alongside Xbox and PS4. I send out all the details, you input them into the society and admin it... I can do Ps4 if you need it

I tried playing at the Masters skill level for over 6 hours yesterday, and it went awful. I shot like +16 each round, and actually got worse as I played. I'm sure it's mostly me, but I strongly feel that the Dualshock controller is so inconsistent with this game. I played at the Master's level on TGC 2019, and my swing was never this inconsistent. I'm not sure if I should be in this league if we play at the Masters level, as I feel it wouldn't be fair to my teammate. Just my two cents. I was the same. Played the platinum society and scored +16, +16, +15, +11. But a few days later, I'm shooting in the + single digits and occasionally going under par. Play whichever level you most enjoy, all I'm saying is that if you keep practicing, you will get better,, and more consistent.

Should we get 3 societies running, it will take away the necessity to post your scorecards etc. but I think you can only play stroke play in societies? If so, we'll adapt very quickly

Sorry mate. Not logged into anything PGA related since I lost the 2019 game. I didn't even realise the game had came out yet. Best get down to the shops. If there is still spaces available count me in please.

So..I guess I was a little whiny b%& too soon. After changing to more forgiving clubs, I'm probably averaging like +4 with Master's difficulty. Just out of curiosity, what do you all think the average score will be? Will single digit over par scores be competitive in this league?

WHo knows I'm probably looking at setting at Pro level for the society, with a few aids turned off. I'd imagine single figues + or - would be decent scoring overall, but time will tell.

Playing around with various settings for another society I've found turning off the power bar under the golfers feet is a must, makes partial shots so easy with it on, from what I've seen a lot of players are turning it off anyway. And certainly all the pro vision stuff needs to be off.

Power bar is a definite off as are most if not all of the pro-vision.

Hi all!
I am training to play Master level, since I think that is going to be the level required at least at the higher tiers of TGCTours... I struggled at the beginning, but after losing some time on calibration and purchasing some clubs fitting my style, I am now scoring under par consistently. Not as in 2019, but under par at least.
I agree a lot with the opinion above that it will be ver difficult to (physically and mentally) switch from Pro to MAster all the time... Maybe an option is to run this test, make a poll on who is more confortable with which setting and, if we happen to be near 50-50%, do the pairings with one Pro + one Master player?

I've realized that Masters is probably the best way to go. Maybe a poll of those playing would give everyone a better idea. Just a thought

I'm sure you are right. 32 hours into the game playing both Pro and Masters I've just about made my mind up I'm not fussed about the Tours and prefer to settle for Pro level, which is not accommodated at all by TGCT, as it's level that I'm enjoying. Hopefully Societies such as this one will continue to facilitate those of us that have decided that is the way for us to go. As far as TGCT is concerned I'll have to settle for the Pro-Am.

That's a good idea mate, thanks. I think we will need to delay the start of Pandora (possibly) but we'll see.
Cheers
