I will hold out hope that this game is more difficult but watching some of Andre's stream not sure if he is overdramatic or what. Comments like 100x harder than beginner clubs but only a day in going from shooting 105 on Legend Clubs to -1 later the same day. We will see what happens.
Not sure how post launch support goes. HB track record is dogshit the past 2 iterations, Don't get me wrong look forward to the game but they have turned me sour in the way they have handled things the past few years. I doubt things will change this time around.

A question for the designers that have tried the preview Crazycanuck1985, VctryLnSprts: Have they added medium rough? And to all: Have they added sliders on the local match to adjust rough difficulty?

Thanks for the info guys...Does anyone know if after you do your initial "swing tempo" set up at the very beginning does it have the ability to reset as you play more or maybe get a new controller? Thanks.

And to all: Have they added sliders on the local match to adjust rough difficulty? No, the surfaces are still the same hierarchy as before, there is no added surface for medium rough or fringe. The difficulty of the rough is set by the designer in the creation of the course, there are no sliders to adjust it for the player in the gameplay.

The difficulty of the rough set by the designer - in TGC 2019, the settings was firmness and roll. Are there new adjustments?

No, settings are the same. Firmness and roll are the difficulty settings, because the lower you set them, the worse the lies are.

Have a question regarding the designer in 2k21 but 1st I'd like to just mention a big thanks to the streamers for your in depth looks at what's to come for us all. Not to mention the countless hours you all put in! Hats off to you all!
With the addition of the likes of Cypress trees now I'm just curious if HB had added Redwood Trees this time around. My guess would be no but hey at least they were thinking West Coast. I think it'd be a shame if they were left out of the mix again.

I do not know if this question has been asked or answered in the streams (by the way, thanks to all of you streamers for your excellent work) but one of my pet peeves is with the Putting/Chipping practice area. In TGC2019 you could only play toward one pin, and not change it to one of the other three(?) on the green. I found that extremely limiting for practice if it happened to be one of the flatter locations. Will we be able to change what pin we want to use? You can cycle through the various practice pins in 2019 (i think with the right/left shoulder button) I just tried this Jacko, both on PS4 and controller on PC, and I must be doing something wrong. The left and right D-pad buttons just change your aim, but not the flag, and I tried both R2 and L2 but they did nothing. The only way I have been able to change pins is by quitting the Putting Practice and then starting Putting practice again; you get a different pin but without any choice. Tell me what my problem is if you can.

I don't recall seeing anything being called redwood specifically, however the amount of trees that they call "pines" and "cedar" and generally the conifer selection has definitely grown, so perhaps you'd find something close maybe? I sure hope so, I'm looking forward to what you create in this next game!

But yeah, 33 pages to sift through I'd hope something closer to resembling one in the "conifer" section might be there. Still a shame imo to get overlooked again!
Thanks Les!
