I see this is going to be one of the free August PS Plus games. Anyone going to be giving it a go?
Can't seem to link from the playstation anymore so here's the video for it now I'm on a computer.

Just watched someone who was streaming it and it looks like it has the potential to be the best battle royale style game, especially if you're not big on shooters.

Yeah, I never got into Fortnite or those type of games, usually just hid in one spot. Hopefully the split screen co-op can be played online or something similar so there's more than two of you. I'm sure the Mrs will roll her eyes when I suggest playing this next week though  |

It does seem like it could lure a non-gaming spouse or significant other into at least giving it a try. Controls should be simple since it's mostly just running around. Bigger issue will probably be getting my non-gaming wife to put down Animal Crossing for long enough to try this.

Looks like there's no split screen couch co-op. Oh well, still looks like some mindless fun though. Have to see if you can at least party up with friends to play at the same time. Looks like you can according to this:
But despite being every man for himself, that doesn’t mean you can’t play Fall Guys with friends. While there is currently no facility to play games in a private lobby, you can join normal games as a group. When in a queue and a team game is chosen, the Fall Guys will try to put all of your party into the same team, but ultimately for the show, which is what the game calls a set of games, you are all on your own.
In order for you to play with friends, while in the main menu, you can either press triangle on PS4, or press P on a keyboard and a menu will pop up allowing you to invite friends to your party. From here, you can queue as normal and get straight into a show. Progress will continue as normal, and friends can quit out of a show if they have already been eliminated.

It's been so long since I've got a game on launch day that I'd forgotten about the typical launch day server overload. That being said I haven't had too much trouble getting into games. Think I've played 4 games thus far and it's been fun.

I played a few games before coming to work. I can see it losing its appeal with me after this weekend. A good game to play with a bunch of friends. I had the wife play 1 game, she hated it.

Just played a game where slime climb was the 2nd round. I think it was the first 23 to finish qualified to move on. I was one of 3 that made it to the finish line. Made for a really quick game since the 3rd round was obviously the last. I did not win.
