Anyone been playing this? Looks similar to open world games like Red Dead and The Witcher, at least with the riding around that I’ve seen people streaming do. fadgewacker think I saw you had some trophies, any good? |

I'm about 3 years behind when it comes to these games.
Currently ploughing through Horizon Zero Dawn and The Witcher is also on the pile.
I'll get back to you in 2024  |

I'm a big fan of the inFamous games done by these guys, so I don't doubt it's quality but I'm getting pretty burned out on open world games at this point. My credit card rewards program just added video games a week or two ago and I had enough points for a free game so it was down to this or The Last of Us 2 so I sided with the familiar and more linear game. Once Ghost hits the $20-30 range I'll give it more consideration although the PS5 will be out by then so there's a good chance this'll become one of those late gen gems that just gets lost in the shuffle.

This’ll only look better on PS5... I nearly held out to play it on that, but glad I got it. Know what you mean about ole world stuff, can get a bit much, but for me this has been incredibly engaging the combat is very satisfying. |

I'll add this to my Black Friday / Christmas sale list then. Picked up PS Now when it was on sale for $42 for the yearly subscription so been playing Lego games with the Mrs. I did download Mudrunner the other week and her comment to that was "This is the dumbest game I've ever seen you play". Guess she didn't see me playing Train Sim World a few months ago  |

At least theres some action on that, did the intercity 125 from Paddington to Reading and other than leaving the station and arriving there is nothing to do for half an hour except making sure you dont go over the speed limit. Train sim 2 comes out in a few weeks with the underground, I’ll wait until thats under $20 too. |

I'll get back to you in 2024 Horizon is excellent. Finished it last night. Found bits of the story a little dull but the gameplay, the combat in particular, is excellent. Got the expansion pack in the summer sale so will be playing that this week.
Got to say, whilst Horizon looks amazing in its own right, in comparison to The Last of Us 2 it looks, and performs, like trash on my old PS4. Amazing how much progress can be made using the same hardware in 3 years.

Probably, it's funny I had a quick look at the Youtube Q&A the developer did for Train Sim World 2 the other week and all the comments are bashing them for what they're not including such as departure boards or platform announcements and what they haven't fixed from the last version. It's kind of an anorak version of TGC The follow up to Mudrunner which is Snowrunner is in the summer ps sale, might get that instead as that looks leaps and bounds better than its predecessor. |
