This is a complete rebuild of my 2019 'Galleigh Links'. The course has been re-routed, but you will still see features of the original. This is a much tougher course than the original, despite have 3 driveable par 4's. More holes run closer to cliff edges which brings a lot more danger into play. Standard conditions should be firm, and fast. However it has been tested at the max, so pump up the wind, the firmness, and the green speeds if you want to suffer a little. I am happy with how this turned out but would like to hear you thoughts. Give it a play and let me know how you get on! Hole 2: Hole 7: Hole 13: Hole 16:

Love it. Just bloody brilliant. I'm on a bit of a break from the game, but seeing you post this made me hop back in for a couple of rounds and I'm really glad I did. I love the Digital courses where it feels like you're just having fun in the designer and going by instinct. There are definitely elements I recognise from the original - the 6th tee shot feels wonderfully familiar, as does the 17th fairway - but hole seven had me chuckling away all the way through the flyover right to that little thumbprint and it's easily my favourite hole on the course. Then again, 8 was wonderful, as was 13, the 14th and 15th greensites are gold etc etc. Then, just as I think I'm getting the course, you throw that look on the 17th tee at me and that hole is great, too. I think with this sort of course, you're bound to have a few quirks that don't work for everyone. As you're after a bit of feedback (and I'm nitpicky ), for me, I'm not sure hole two needed to be blind (given the first tee shot was) and the tenth green was a touch too narrow for me. I also went back and forth on whether I loved the strings of long fours then strings of short fours or whether I thought it'd be even better with them mixed up a little, but eventually came down on the side of 'they were the best holes with the land you had' and kudos to you for going with it, regardless of convention. I need to replay the original, but I think this one beats it. Great work, Adam!

This is the first and only version I played so I can’t compare to previous versions but it was a fun round. I’d agree the 7th was fun (pin 1) trying to funnel it in. One of the rare birdies on the round. Fun undulations throughout. Greens could make other pins play significantly different. I am a bottle of wine in tonight with Friends playing in the background (Oh Jennifer) but I’ll take my +2 and give this track a 5*.

When I started the rebuild, I was set on making it a really tough course. That faded after a couple of holes, however I was trying to lengthen the 2nd and that was the only place to go. Maybe it would have been a better hole I had left it on the old tees and let the player have a wedge in hand. The 10th green was a similar design to the original, but pushed back 40 yards or so. It is a little harder to run onto as there isn't the nice shallow bowl around it. It is certainly very narrow to be hitting a long iron into! I'm glad you like 7, I changed the routing last week to accommodate that hole. The original redesigned 7th went left of 6 (the hole is still sitting there as I never deleted the textures). Then the 8th hole played as a par 3 to what ended up being the 13th green. The 8th green was the original 13th. I messed around with a million different routings on the plot! Thanks again!
