Set in a quiet neighborhood area near Appleton, Wisconsin, Paper Valley Golf Club is now open for business and accepting tee times! Named in honor of the paper industry that defines the area's identity, as well as the hardworking folks who keep the mills running every day, PVGC is the newest addition to the long list of quality golf courses found in Northeast Wisconsin!
This is the area I grew up in, so PVGC is influenced by several courses that can be found in that area in real life (Reid Golf Course, High Cliff Golf & Event Center...just to name a couple).
The course plays to 7058 yards from the blue tees, 6956 from the whites, and 5678 from the gold/forward tees. Any course settings could be used (although I'd recommend playing with just a low wind), and I tested playing from the blue tees with Pro clubs. Four pin sets are available, and they range from Set 1 being more welcoming, to Set 4 being more challenging.

Wide open fairways accommodate golfers of all skills and abilities, while contoured greens and plenty of hazards offer enough of a challenge for even the most seasoned player. Water is in play on 10 of the holes, and bunkers protect most fairways and greens.
Be sure to also inquire about holding your special event at the PVGC, including having your wedding ceremony in our beautiful gazebo just beyond the 2nd hole green!
Here are some course highlights:
Hole 1, Par 4 - You get to greet the Fox River right away, as you must cross it after your opening tee shot
Hole 3, Par 4 - runs along the Fox and near the surrounding neighborhood
Hole 4, Par 3
Hole 7, Par 3
Hole 9, Par 4 - Green view, as well as a look at the clubhouse patio and practice green beyond the bushes
Hole 13, Par 5 - Green complex on this reachable Par 5
Hole 17, Par 4 - A waterfall welcomes players to the club, and is also visible beyond the No. 17 green
Hole 18, Par 3 - A rare one-shot finisher, with the Fox River again lurking behind the green.
We hope you enjoy your round at the PVGC! Please leave any feedback for the greens committee, and they'll be sure to take your comments to heart. Since this is just their second full course creation, they are still learning new things and are excited to hear how they can improve!
Cheers!
