Couple notes from the designer: Course can be easy to par, but can really haunt you if you're trying to go low. Have fun with the slopes. They can help or hurt you, so pay attention. The design strategy was a test of the "rules". No returning 9s so don't expect to run in to the proshop after 9. Blind shots, yep, there's a lot of them, some are avoidable. It's a long par 70, but remember it is for everyone. I never checked my tee boxes, they're flat enough. Some pins are dicey. Little walking between green and tee? Please, the walk is the only part of golf I'm good at.
Front tees play as an executive course. Feel free to post your scores if you play them. I have never played them myself, so i'm sure it's perfect.
Also, for the judges, not sure how in depth you're going to be with feedback, but if it's easier to just stream a playthrough rather than jot down a bunch of notes, that'll work for me. I don't care if everyone knows the feedback.

What a fantastic course! I truly enjoyed every hole. The bunker work, especially the "grassy" bunkers, was top notch. Honestly, I would put some of those bunkers up there with the best I've seen since I started playing this game. I'm glad the hole sketches and Huggies wipes led to such a great publish. Well done! (Me realizing this course knocked my submission out of the first cut....)

Thanks @babybull, really glad to hear that because I wasn't crazy about the planting at first but it grew on me. Pun intended. Glad you enjoyed your round!

Really enjoyed the course! Hole 15 was probably my favourite, such a cool look from the tee. Shame there wasn't any cars in the parking lot though, I hear that's close to an automatic DQ

You're welcome for the exclusive first round! Thanks for coming!

I really enjoyed your course it was well worth the wait! I really liked how you sculpted your dunes areas and the sort of minimalist planting style you used. It was very fitting for this course. I played under default conditions so the winds were pretty low but I bet this sucker really has some teeth when it starts to blow a bit! I also really liked your subtle and sneaky elevation changes. Most of the holes look pretty flat but they’re certainly not when playing them. Excellent work here sir good luck with the comp!

I just had a round and really enjoyed it. There was some very tough holes particularly the long par 4s but it was a great challenge. Best of luck with the comp Justin. There's so many great courses now I'd hate to have judge all these but this would be up there IMO.

There's so many great courses now I'd hate to have judge all these but this would be up there IMO. Thank you. I don't have high expectations because of all the great courses i've seen. I just hope the few that play it have fun. Glad you enjoyed it. The long 4s are hard but reasonable. The hero carry hole over the waste bunker could have been a par 5. But i think it plays too easy. And i've always liked the idea of a 3 or 4 iron approach to a par 4 that plays fair. My last course got some gripe, so I did it again. Oh, another "rule" broken. An abundance of 2 shot holes with 4 drive and pitch par 4s. (I think thats how it goes).

The colors and sculpting were suppose to be the stars of the course. Planting is minimal. So was the effort actually. All I did was surface and sculpt everything to fished. Then lowered the sun to the horizon. Everything that was still lit I spammed yellow grass and buried a bunch of trees. Then I turned the lights back on and spammed green plants in the bare spots. Then I turned the auto gen trees up and planted bushes every where hb put a tree. Then turned them off. Took about 3 hours. So im glad it turned out well.

Added note about conditions. I managed to move a waypoint on 16 forward a couple yards, putting pins 3 and 4 really close to the edge of the false front. They're pretty unfriendly as it is, and close to unplayable on vf/vf greens. 🤷♂️

Finally got a chance to play this dog track
Ill be serious in saying I thoroughly enjoyed this course from opening tee shot to final putt....
Beautiful routing, and Ill say something not too many usually point out, the cart path work, usually I dont pay much attention to it other than to see if folks properly smoothed them, but in this case, they added even more to the overall look for me, I noticed them every hole and they were smooth and routed just perfect throughout the course and you could tell you didnt just plop down some paths, but it was as if you took the time to follow the lay of the land and it was just awesome
Loved the vibe of the course, smooth as silk and very polished, like every spline was meticulously placed and then took the time to check each spline waypoint to make sure it was perfectly smoothed curves etc
Bunkering was very good, and I loved the greensites...
The planting was something else I loved, great work there man... Just a great golf course... Sorry but you are gonna finish a spot or 60 above 70th place
Great work Justin, absolutely loved it man
