Rory is my favourite golfer but the new title doesn't sound right at all. I totally agree with you Jules.

I wish they would have gone to the FIFA model where the name does not bear any player's name but features a prominent star (or a few based on region) on the cover. I believe they were gonna go that route until their E3 blunder. I'm fairly certain they're doing this to try and signal a change from all the negative press they received.

I don't know about that. Spieth looks damn good but Rory really only needs the one. And as well as he played this year I think Rory is the more likely of the two to complete a Grand Slam unless Augusta is to Rory what the US Open is to Phil.
But I think the title of the game should have just become PGA Tour Golf '16 and so on if they could have nailed down a deal to put a larger number of course on the game from the actual tour. But they've never been able to do that because of all the different sponsors for every tournament and having to work out the rights to digitally recreate the courses with each Country Club and Golf Course. So they just slap a name on it of someone recognizable and then slap together 6 real courses with 10-15 fake ones and call it a game. Tiger Woods has gone rapidly downhill for me since 2008 on the pc with all the custom courses

Yeah, I'd definitely just prefer "PGA Tour". Even over "Tiger Woods PGA Tour".
