Oh..has been a great show! But it shows also that MJ was a real a$$hole. Is not something new, everyone who knows and remember those years already knew it..but in this documentary the thing is well clear (and it misses to show also some of the worst example of his behavior, after all).. Of course..he needed to act as an a$$hole..a bit to reach those crazy peaks of not human level he was used to show om EVERY single game..and a bit because, especially after the Olympic Games, he became bigger than the whole NBA at some point..and his life would be even more impossible if he couldn't defend himself in some way. But above these details definitely not so important..the most clear thing probably is that this is not the story about a sportsman..but about an explorer of the human limits. Something probably i'll never see again. Only the history of Diego could have some slight contact point in terms of divinity applied on some human activity...but with dozens of BUT.

Would you recommend to watch it? Although, I have a long list what to watch on Netflix. It depends by how much you already know about that season and the Bulls dinasty. I have not found so many things i don't already knew, but has been anyway an interesting documentary. Is centered mainly about MJ, Scottie, Phil Jackson and Rodman, in some way minimizing the role of others co-starring, rivals and the work of Krause (not big surprise, anyway, about this), but yes, if you love that era of the NBA (as i do, A LOT more than the actual) i suppose is always something interesting to watch.

Would you recommend to watch it? Although, I have a long list what to watch on Netflix. excellent production values, good look at an obsessive star who reached the top and dominated, some looks at wider stuff, like his Nike deal and how the Olympics made basketball spread around the world. Jordan had veto on ANY thing he didn't want in the show, or to edit it, so it's a bit of a puff piece, though some of the more interesting stuff did make it in.

About his obsession and the fact he is definitely an a$$hole, the show also misses to talk about a good number of episodes, including the one i hate the most, that is what he did when his number were retired and he talked about Pop Harrington (his high school coach he invited to the ceremony), just telling he was the one who excluded him from the high school team, causing a storm of whistles and hate's roaring from the public. In that situation, his behavior has been really, really miserable, also considering that : 1) the story of his exclusion from the high school team is totally untrue. He has been not "excluded". Pop made that choice looking only for the best thing possible for him, exactly because i believed so much on him, as the next seasons would prove. 2) Pop did A LOT for him already in that year, in fact he has been is first real coach, forcing him to work a lot on his game, especially on his jumpshot and on the high post. No counting that Pop was the one who, with his car, carried him to the practice center from home and reverse every day. He believed in him as a player from day 1. 3) Pop at the time of that ceremony was already declared not employable cause he received a diagnosis to be a schizoprenic. A bit of kindness was really the minimum thing. Probably this has been the first and only time in which i really despised him as a man.

A lot of his former teammates weren't happy with the show or didn't want to be on it in the first place.

I noticed that The Last Dance is popular. So, I found it on movies review sites. The reviews were positive and the rating was high. Finally I started watching this series It turned out to be brilliant! I discovered much interesting about basketball and Michael Jordan's career. It is definitely worth watching!

I watched it on ESPN as it came out weekly and I plan on rewatching it at some point on Netflix. It was very interesting to see behind the scenes and everything that went on. I'm sure there was more that was either cut or not allowed to be included, but still worth the watch IMO
