We need some courses above 7100 yards for our PRO TOURS! We will likely moving forward only be looking at these longer courses for the PRO Tours. Just wanted the designers to be aware of that. Thanks!

Agreed, I'm just about to do Q-School and have been looking at scores, would be nice to see less scores in the 50's on tour, although I'm sure you can't stop the best guys from that without being hokey. PS Tim, hats off to you and everyone involved with this game, I work in the golf business on the maintenance and construction side and have been waiting a long time for a quality course designer (I won't do any shameless plugging of my courses). I've lost track of time many times creating courses, might end up leading to me getting divorced (JK).

I rarely make a course less than that yardage these days, just hoping I can break through and get a course on the tour soon.

I've got one coming within the next week or so. Applying some finishing touches at the moment.

How about my Roebuck Manor course? 7450 Yards. Tastegw rated it at over 80% in his "next level" design competition over at HB forums. It has a 4.75 / 5.0 rating here. Any fps issues should be eradicated after the latest software update.

I'll have one up in the next week or so, 7350 yards par 72, although may change it to par 71 as one of the par 5 is an easy reach even with strong winds

I've just published a 7431 yard par 71 called Gemstone Valley Golf Club.
Feel free to play and feedback

That's a bit sad to hear tbh. My course is 6900 so I guess it has no chance of ever being considered for an event now?

Note the PRO tours element... There have been course submission guidelines for as long as I've been on the site. Under web.com it says shorter than pro at less than 7000 yards so this is only a slight extension: tgctours.com/Course/GuidelinesSuggesting you still have a shot at web.com or champions. Having said that it seems the length of web.com courses may be getting longer too Personally I think there can and should always be exceptions to rules, a sufficiently tough short course could offer enough of a challenge to be suitable??

Don't forget that the 'official' scorecard yardage is based on the waypoint routing of the hole, so some holes play longer and others shorter if people aren't truly being accurate with their waypoints. Thus anything just under 7000 yds could actually play longer, and vice versa.

I wouldn't mind some tougher courses on the lower tours. I don't want to play easy every week..

Ah okay. I was under the impression these were ALL Pro tours.
