ROUND 3 - Singles Matches
¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥
As all other Ryder Cups we have had this will also be a MASTERS CLUB Only Main Event.
The rules listed below will consist of the same structure as our Winter the Ryder Cup.
STRUCTURE:
We will follow the Ryder Cup structure and scoring.
SCORING: (First team to 14.5 pts will be declared the winners)
1 point for a win
½ point for a tie
0 points for a loss.
TURN ORDER PLAY:
It is highly recommended we conduct as many of the matches as possible Live turn order. It will make for better competition, more pressure, and more viewing for our Twitch providers.
The matches WILL BE played outside of society played LIVE! If not played live, you must play your round in the CUCC RYDER CUP SOCIETY.
Main Event will be held at:
CUCC RYDER CUP SOCIETY
^ ONLY For purpose of live play that cannot be played, participants can play a society Round with same conditions to record their round but scorecard MUST BE SCREENSHOT.
RULES:
Submitting line ups for each round of the tournament: For the Alt-Shot / Foursomes and Four balls, rounds 1 and 2, 6 teams of 2 golfers are selected from each squad. The captain then selects the order in which he will put them out, both captains do this and submit their starting sheet. The singles matches will be chosen in the same manner. (This will be done live on twitch FEB 15th. Time TBD)
ROUND TWO: Combined match play/Alt shot. If all 4 players are able to play live, then the match will be played as Alt-Shot. In the case all four players can play alt-shot, they will be provided the settings for the course, and will play their match outside the society. If this cannot be done, the matches will be played as combined match play. In this case all players will submit a score card and the combined scores of team USA will face the combined scores for team EUROPE in match play. (If this happens it would be recommended that the 2 USA and 2 European players play together on one score card. They would play a round of stroke play vs each other and submit the score card to face their opponents score card.)
CAN'T PLAY LIVE WHAT DO I DO?
1. Notify your Captain, and he may choose to use an alternate to play LIVE.
2. Contact your opponent(s) and decide who is going to play first. This works for both single play and pairs. In the case of pairs, try your best to play live with your partner so we can get both players on one scorecard.
3. If you played first take a screen shot of your scorecard and let your opponent(s) know you have completed the round. (Do not post the scorecard. Hold on to it.)
4. Your opponent(s) has completed his(their) round and notified you. Now you will play his(their) ghost(s) (Make sure it's the right scorecard ghost(s)) You will complete the match vs his(their) ghost(s), take a screen shot of the scorecard with yours and your opponents ghost(s) on the same scorecard and send to (TBD) via message on xbox. He will enter the results on the spreadsheet.
Score Card Submission: We will all need to take screen shots of our score cards at the conclusion of each round. If needed we will ask for them to be submitted scoring purposes. IMPORTANT do not forget to screen shot each score card!!
Clubs: Remember this is a Master's clubs only event. If caught using Pro or beginner clubs your match will be forfeited, and you will be removed from the competition.
Will start Saturday June 27th and ends until All 3 Rounds are completed from each team.
