Both the Pitches & Kako look equal on paper, But Peg thinks that the Pitches won't be the ones that fail this week. Both the Bunz & The Stunts are winless after the first two weeks and will be looking for a win. Septic just laughed and said That's easy, the Bunz will be getting the star back. The Ales meet the Beer Bellies in the 3rd match. If the Ales manage to drink 9 yards of ale both teams will be beer bellies. Septic going for the nicely crafted ALES The Madness lot, Captained by captain sensible play the Gasms, but according to Septic it's going to be the Nogasms that go without this week Septic had a better week last week getting 3 out of 4. She even managed to get the results right after the matches had been played. Looking at the leader boards The Stunts lead the teams and have the top three spots on the individual standi... Oh wait a minute better turn the paper work up the right way. So far the scores by the teams are looking fairly even, apart from the Cupid's who are living up to the Spoonerism of their name. It seems like the Wizards of Oz are getting it right with the top two teams being lead by Aussies and four of them in the top seven individual table. Good luck everyone

First two rounds in the books....even beat Frans to the first punch....
Round 1 was marred by my usual pick a hole to have a meltdown on. This time the 14th which is a perfectly straightforward hole if you approach it with half a brain. I didn't. Double Humph! Ended with a very poor -6
Round 2 was much better, bogie free and could have been better had I not missed a couple of makeable putts -12
Backward and forward like a Granny parallel parking......
Onward!

They say form is temporary but class is permanent. As it is, I'm just an e-mail away from being slapped back down to the cheap seats. The also rans. The wannabees. Yes, my time as a posh player is done. Dead. I'm right back where I started years ago. Can't fib about my scores anymore. Can't claim I made 5 eagles in a round anymore. My scorecards will be posted on the world wide web under cc-a for all to see. Man, life sucks Anyways, opportunity knocks - I just gained an extra 40 minutes playing time per week, woot. Played 2 rounds this morning with new found vigour, even used them pro clubs to see if I can find some love for a change. Only difference between masters and pros is that masters = fast downswings, pros= slow downswings. Crazy. Scoring: -10 -8 Even have time now to upload my usual video too. Good luck all! mmmm, it just hit me - maybe I never had any class, the form I had was just good form. Temporarily.

Well that's another thoroughly disappointing tournament put to bed....
Round 3 was a complete dog's breakfast of a round with every colour under the sun on the card -8
Round 4 was chuntering along nicely until I hit my nemesis hole, the 14th, and it got even worse after that with an "enforced" (I'm blaming HB tempo!!) swim (more of a paddle really but dents your scorecard just as much) and not enough holes left to recover -6
Things just not going my way at the moment, need to Tough it out!!
Onward!

Onward! I’m sorry Skylar, SkyBlueBen, I was (still) being a posh boy and trying to hang on to my geen thingy in Euro... it’s not an excuse, I know. So I hurried over to this week’s CCpro course and completed my first two rounds. Round 1: -14 <<<missed a few very short putts 😂😂😂 Round 2: -8 <<< was -7 after 9 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Erratic would be an understatement. Good luck all, Tolle guttis!!! Frans

One of the many benefits that come with being in a Polygamous relationship is that 7 women very rarely have the same point of view, and therefore you can always find one that agrees with you. So it was surprising to hear everyone in agreement the night before we left for France that I would need to be on my guard, because the French are an aggressive bunch who can’t be trusted.
Well it didn’t take long for the Ladies to be proved correct on both counts.
Two high quality practice rounds with French Tournament director Jerome Mayo giving me advice left me confident walking to the first. Wait a minute, Jerome had me playing off the Back Tee’s in practice and here we are playing half way down the fairway, my bag was set up for one course and here we are playing another, I turn in anger and see Jerome in close conversation with Kako Captain Ashton. I’ve been stitched up.
Take a deep breath-don’t let them get to you-back to the routine.
Most of you will by now be familiar with Conchaka, she’s my Mongolian Throat singer who sings as I play every tee shot. I line up my drive, she starts to wail and then it happens, two of the biggest men you’ve ever seen grab Conchaka and drag her off towards the car park; Conchaka can handle herself but more and more of these goons turn up and she’s bundled in to the back of a Citreon and disappears.
This is Conchaka the night before she was forced decided to join my entourage...
I’m a wreck, my concentration has gone, Par on the easy Par 5 1st is followed by a wet ball Bogey on the 4th, the team get me focused and we struggle to -11 in Round 1. A good start on Round 2 is ruined by a Wet ball bogey on the downhill Par 3, a missed birdie putt that disappears down a hill results in another bogey, finished up a disappointing -9.

Decided to finish up today holding thumbs my return to the top cc tier (silver linings everywhere) does not get blotted by my 1st red tick too. Slumbered around for the most part, scored an average -12 in 3rd round, (2 big birds) and a less than stellar -8 in the 4th. -38 for the tourney.
Another short iron shot from the 3rd round, another welcome back I suppose. Maybe hb noticed I have not pre ordered tgc4 yet, who knows?

A few early observations: - Dirtbags this week looks like it will be denied the mano e mano BIG GAME of Art Vandelay vs IGolfBad. It is a tragic loss for the community because this game has all the pomp, circumstance and pageantry of a pre school spelling bee. I have a ONE game winning streak in the match up, and now well will have to wait at least another season. Mark how much did you bribe Paul and Frans to make sure you didn't have to face me in singles?
Sam Riotous is quickly becoming a favorite read for me. Loved the outfit for Conchaka, the singing is, err, an acquired taste?
Marc Crazy Croc so good to have you back with the peasants. Did you bring us stuff from the KF cafeteria? The gift shop?
Great reporting honeybadger64 and SkyBlueBen, love the recaps keep 'em coming!
Dear ALES lessangster cappy1 SAM - We have a very tough week ahead of us, Latin funky speak aside, those dudes can pixel golf! But we are ALES, we are cool, frosty and enjoyed everywhere responsibly! Onward!

A shower head and complementary soap. I'll hide it inside the cistern of the toilet so all the Dirtbags can share!
