I'm not sure how us +3-+4 handicap guys are supposed to compete with the +12-13+ I saw earlier in my 1st round....loved that wind in my face the whole game or left to right @13-15mph just makes these tournaments not enjoyable at all back to back -2 for -4 so far I actually like the course but there isn't any reason why I should sign up to "compete" with these players and or settings lets be honest....
You nailed it, the game is not enjoyable with 15+ winds, especially when people wind wait. Where's the update HBStudios promised to fix this issue?!

Shawnee is a really tough course. Scraped by with - 2 in 5 to 10mph winds. I expect to see a large number of WDs for this one. :-)

Haven't started my first round yet, as hinted by Doyley there are some very low scores possible, I'm targeting two 59s to get my second crack at the Euro tour. .... Why did I have to say that? 64 first round, then second round I find myself -11 going down 17... Just 1 birdie to get that 59... Nope, two lip outs and I'm stuck on 60. Next round, I'm -10 on 17 but I birdie that and shave the hole on 18 for another 60! Pretty chuffed with those mind you, the course wasn't as easy as first appeared... Next time I'll keep my mouth shut! Sponsors exemptions aren't too easy to come by theses days!

I had never shot a 60 on the tours. Finally shot one last week in Brasil. Then this week go really low with the 58 in round 1 (early lead). Hole in one in Round 3 on 17th hole. Then got on a role in the 4th round, shot 56, still dont know how I did it. I think I have enough to win, but steelereign went low too on Sunday I think...

Will be interesting to see what the overall winner shoots....I'm guessing high 40's.
Managed to earn myself my third exemption this week......which means eligability for "The Shakespeare" on the Euro tour week after next.....LOVE that course so may be tempted to try for my Euro Tour card.
Anyway, good look everyone with your final round(s) on Tobacco Dunes.
I shot a total score of -34:
R1 - 59 (-12) R2 - 65 (-6) R3 - 68 (-3) R4 - 58 (-13 saved the best for last but the middle rounds screwed me...no one to blame but myself and my awful putting!)
......MIGHT scrape top 25 with that.

You are probably safe Nic. My last round was a turd...shot a 68 in high winds. No way I win this thing, but nice to finally be toward the top of the leaderboard again.

I see that the third round seemed pretty tough, hope I can hang in there. Shot 58 to hang with MisterNic in Round 1, but shot 64 for round 2 thanks to that par 3 with the pin on the top of the hill! Looking for a top 10, we'll see what happens

That 56 in the last round is going to be enough to Catch me & beat me. Good shooting for not being consistent that last round really saved you.

I ended up having to do all my rounds last night due to running out of time because real life. The winds weren't as kind as they might have been, with a consistent 8-12mph and this did my scoring no favours at all. That said, I'm happy with my consistency, and with the scores overall considering the winds.
63-64-65-64 won't win me the tourney by a long chalk, but if I make top 30 I'll be delighted given the conditions I ended up with.
Also played a couple of practice rounds on Shawnee last night. My word that's a test. It will be very interesting to see the general level of scoring. I was pretty pleased with a -3 second time around

You guys are not kidding. This course has been getting the best of me so far. I have also yet to break even in my practice rounds.
On a side note, this is the first course that I've run into those 93-95% errors some people have been complaining about.

I found on Shawnee I am +3 to +5 after nine... I need to be more conservative. Trying to "hole" chips can be a costly endeavor.

Put up a - 6 in practice earlier but I'll choke when it counts.

Shawnee is a tough course with 10-14mph winds. Small landing areas for a strong wind. Hope i play in something less then 8 mph winds. With little winds i believe golfers will be shooting 9-10 under.
