Boy, did I have a 2nd round! This course will give up some scores in low winds. Had 0-8mph for the first 3 rounds. Picked up a good bit in the 4th.

Got my exemption. I've had 3 other chances and couldn't make the cut. We'll see what happens this time.

Haven't started my first round yet, as hinted by Doyley there are some very low scores possible, I'm targeting two 59s to get my second crack at the Euro tour. Have to say it's a beautiful course this week, don't know the real course but the designer has done a fantastic job. Also as much as this course could give up some low scores, it still has some bite

The perfect summary to how my first round went: Ouch! Had a couple of those as well. The par 3 8th ate my lunch in one of my rounds. That's what I really enjoyed about this course. There are some really good landing areas on the greens, but if you miss them you're in deep doo doo.

I happened to try a practice round in 12 mph winds and thos small 'special" landing areas on the greens, killed my scores. I had lots of "What has been called a “Green Visited” (GV), which occurs when a golf ball briefly visits the green before leaving the putting surface. Winds really play havoc with your scores, but especially here. Great course though.

I have completed all my rounds and submitted them, I played really well this week from tee to green but missed a lot of putts in all four rounds, on my last round I missed four putts from under five feet in the first six holes for birdies but still managed a reasonable round to finish unfortunately people will go past me with good last rounds.

After a sub-optimal performance in the first round, I was able to put together some really solid rounds after that. I'm hoping it'll be enough for my first top 20 finish on the Web.com Tour.

I'm not sure how us +3-+4 handicap guys are supposed to compete with the +12-13+ I saw earlier in my 1st round....loved that wind in my face the whole game or left to right @13-15mph just makes these tournaments not enjoyable at all back to back -2 for -4 so far I actually like the course but there isn't any reason why I should sign up to "compete" with these players and or settings lets be honest....

First rd in 10-15 mph winds makes this course tough. Started the 2nd rd with 10 mph face wind. Going to be tough to be in the top 10 for the third week. Thats what makes this game n tour great. You need to shoot ur best when the wind is light n try to hang on when the wind is stong n just post a descent number. (Vegas310)

I believe I had at least a double bogey in every single round, which was a little disappointing. Once I can put it all together for a tournament, then I may have a shot at winning one of these days. Until then I just gotta work on some putting, and putting, and more putting.
64 - 59 (triple bogey) - 60 - 59...... (-42)

Thought I'd have a practice round last night to see what I was going to be up against and the wind absolutely destroyed my enthusiasm for playing the tourney rounds. Managed to scrape round in -2 which was a huge surprise.
Really need low wind to score well around this place, tough track! Mind you, I then decided to see what we were going to be up against next week.....makes Tobacco Dunes look easy!

All I know is I don't want to earn my way to the pros. I was in the PGA and couldn't even make the cuts, so I'm going to stay right where I am. And If you thought you missed a lot of putts on this course, wait till the next one, almost every green I saw on Shawnee Creek was crowned with balls rolling off all the time.

Couple of those holes on Shawnee I hit it to 5 feet and it rolled off the green! If its windy forget it.
