Player Bios

So we are using our real names but maybe it would add even more "life" to the tours if on our player page we had players bios which could include things like age, marital status, # kids, college, occupation, hometown, interests, claim to fame, golf club brand used, favorite quote, etc.. Maybe even a player photo.

I can respect some may want to keep their privacy so any item could be optional. As it stands now the real names used don't give any more "identity" or realness to the tours than using gamertags/handles without having some background associated with the names.

Maybe this has already been discussed by the staff and nixed? I think there would be great value to the addition.

We had discussed it very early on and decided against it. We didn't think that there would be large scale interest.   I'm not sure that's changed but feel free to discuss.

Interesting idea! I'd participate.

But I think that...

1.) ...at least some people here don't use their real names. But okay.

2.) ...many people don't want to expose any personal information on this (or any other?) site if they don't really have to.

They could always make up a persona.

Case in point:  Look at all the fun going on in the Euro's tourney locker rooms.  It's all fantasy, well maybe not all, but it is creating a story that adds so much life to the tour.
