What would Victor Lane do if he had 30 acres of spare land in his back yard and all the disposable income necessary to maintain a golf course? The answer can be found at Pink Willow Acres! This back yard course is 18 holes, featuring 2 slightly different pin sets, that measures less than 5,000 yards and plays to a par 64... and it is built in exactly the way you would imagine if you were going to head out onto your own property for a Saturday afternoon of golf with your buddies. The default green speeds are 174, and you'll make a lot of birdies out there, but the back-boarding and fun really begin when you dial up very firm, very fast conditions! It is not out of the realm of possibility for a golfer who is on fire to birdie every hole in one round. Will that be you? The party mansion is open, the DAM is around the course to welcome you and serve Diet Sundrops on the rocks, and the conditions on the course are pristine! And Victor isn't the only one that owns a mansion in this area, as there are 8 others peeking through the trees as you play. One of them might even have a gdog house... see if you can spot it. Shout-out to PithyDoctorG for bringing this idea to the community. I believe a lot of us had a great time with this challenge and it was a fun way to play around with the designer without the stress of a contest or worrying about making a full course. I certainly enjoyed it, and I hope you will too! As always, karma4u, jimgem, @avacrak, and all of the people who do great photos and videos of the community courses have a free pass to play the course whenever they want, so please don't hit into them! Fore!!!

Ok Eric...after this one and the 24 hour course I have an opinion and I believe it to be the right one.
Stop. Working. So. Hard. On. Courses.
Seriously. Just let it flow baby. I sweat the faster you make a course the better and more fun/quirky the routing is and the better the land works with the course. THIS IS NOT A KNOCK OR A BAD THING!
Adopt the Terry Grayson school of design. Whip it together, work on the planting bit and then cut it loose or let someone else look at it then cut it loose. Your best, most enjoyable work is the work that just flows out of you as you go. Rock on bubba.

Great course Eric. May be Jack Hamm's new favourite course.

No Victor Lane course is complete without a tribute to my “dog!”
