Opened up with a -10 in round 1 even though I didn't hit many fairways if I recall. Then came the lying ass green grids of round 2, lost count of the number of lip-outs/burned edges I had so could only muster a -6. So I will be sweating the cut line at -16 I reckon or could be nowhere near it it's too early to tell I suppose. Good luck everyone except SMIFFYLFC79 😜😂😂

Finished up while waiting for my tst crew to wake up and went -10 -7 for a mightily medium -33 total. See you next week boys!

I'm actually pretty confident that I will rack up an unprecendented run of three straight cuts this week.
Very solid -12 to open, followed by a decent -9, for -21 after two.
Didn't play quite as well after the cut, but -37 will see me in my regulation 50th place (when making the cut)

Great course. Nice setup. Hopefully new game isnt so controller based. My broken pad ive played with for last 6 weeks has finally died. Not even letting me swing it back most the time and when it does 80% of my shots squirt right including putts which is hell on straight putts trying to second guess it all the time. New pad arrived friday after 4 week wait due to china virus. Had a couple of rounds with it prior to playing this week so its like new football boots. Need breaking in but really cant be arsed to bang the hours in to get grooved with it. Had bout 20 slow at the top approaches that just left me no chance of putting together a really solid round. That coupled with a very slow tee shot on 5 going 50 yrds right into a pond in a different post code. Good luck all the course has premium on great shot making.

You should have ordered 3 to give yourself better odds of finding a good one!

I know hope its @!$#ed mate! I hope to god they change this mess of a swing mechanic!! Ive messed about with it and if i swing the right stick which is the opposite one to what i use. Im bang in the middle at bottom and out the blue to right at top. Left stick is soo loose im changing my name to zorro 😆 . i also have to slam it forward to get a perfect. The joys of playing golf games. But were all using the same pad 😆 😆

Good job on course and setup. It is right there for the taking, many holes are fairway wood + wedge or driver + pitch. Still, I never felt completely comfortable over any swing, both in terms of decision and execution. Big difference from last week where I didn't have stress over a single par 4 or 5 tee shot in 72 holes.
I felt like my shot making was there, especially in rounds 1, 4, and the last 13 holes of round 3. After putting really well last week, the putter really held me back here. It always seems to 163s. The greens have some awkward spots but I also just straight missed some short ones and some easy mid range ones.
Best of luck to all

After my best finish in a full field of the season (in a Major no less!), I pressed on this week.
A solid, if not spectacular -11 in R1.
Round 2: I eagled the first hole and was feeling pretty good. Thirteen holes later I was -1 for the round. A mini rush of three birdies over the last four holes got me to -4 for the round, but the damage was already done. Won't be around for the weekend.
Swing line and tempo were both issues for the vast majority of that 2nd round, and in R1 tempo issues popped in and out.
Good luck to those yet to play and to those with rounds yet to play!

Pair of 62's for a probable missed cut @ -16.
Played alright but had a nightmare on the greens. Two 3 putts from no distance at all.
Yet another nice course ruined by awful greens. Turning down the speed actually made them worse. Had several occasions where the ball just didn't break as it was supposed to and just went straight on. Numerous hover putts aswell.
And four rounds of TST to look forward to

And four rounds of TST to look forward to I haven’t played yet but played a number of practice rounds. I am actually glad to read your critique of the greens. I thought it was me. I just can’t figure them out. Probably wait to play this one.

R1. 3 putt from 7 feet on 3. Lying pins throughout the week. 3 smelly bogies -7.
R2. Couldn’t miss. -15. Could’ve been -17.
R3. Lying putts back. -8.
R4. Hard trolling. Putts dying inches short. Lying pins. A pixel or two off the center of the channel leads to a bad kick. Made double on 13 after hitting the green. Finished -7.
What was it with every lie in the rough or bunker being 55-65%? Is that a byproduct of double red sloped lies everywhere? Seemed annoying.

Anyone know why I've had to play rounds 1&2 twice?

Decided to play the 1st round last night before going to bed....I was on fire!! Finished it at -17.
Thought, sure why not play the 2nd round as well while on form?! BIG mistake!! Tiredness got the better of me, and struggled for -3!!
Now to wait and see if -20 makes the cut somehow. Sitting on possible demotion to European Tour at the moment as well.
