I start Q school next week. I have read everything at TGCT but have a few questions. I noticed this weeks event had 400 or so players. But all seemed to be from CC-A. I know they throw up there scores as per TGCT but how many are actually in q school and is there anyway to find out. Am I actually going to be competing against C.C.-A players? Can you go straight from Q school to a tour or do you have to work your way up through the challenge circuit? They also talk about playing with ghosts. What is that? Players are put in your group but you don’t know their username? Fake golfers? Or do I play my rounds alone? Not sure what that +2 and -1 demerit system is all about either. If anyone can help great! I don’t need these answers to be able to play my rounds, I just like to know what I am going into. Thanks.

101 posts and you have yet to play QS? Fascinating.

Lol. To me it has been. I know how to play the game but tried my hand at the designer 2 months ago. It is like a drug to me. So I went from 30 rounds a week to 30 in the past 2 months. I meant to sign up right away but didn’t want to practice.
That said do you have any answers for my questions. 🖖🏻

No, that is just the event the QS is played in. CC-Pro is for CC-A through D, so you will see lots of players on that leaderboard. Can you go straight from Q school to a tour or do you have to work your way up through the challenge circuit? No, your performance in QS will determine where you will be placed to start. They also talk about playing with ghosts. What is that? Players are put in your group but you don’t know their username? Fake golfers? Or do I play my rounds alone? Ghosts are the players that have already played the round you are about to play. You can select a ghost or ghosts to play along, or not. If you do select a ghost you can choose to be turn based play (you each take turns like real life golf) or not (which is silly and not realistic at all). Good luck in QS!

On Friday, assuming you played your 3rd round, the Q's will turn into the tour card you will potentially land on when the scores are finalized. P= PGA E= Euro K= KF Ca-g= Challenge Circuit (A-D being CC-Pro and E-Z being CC-Am)

Correct? You'll see them for those doing QS this week. I think most of them show the potential cards now though. Everyone else listed are just the filler players from the CC-A leaderboard. You won't show up on the board until you actually play the QS event you signed up for.

Quick question. What is the submit ticket link beside my score at the top of the leaderboard about. Do I need to click that. I have finished all 4 rounds.

Am I missing something. I am going to the q-school leaderboard on TGCT.
