(And when I say baseball cards, I mean baseball cards. Collecting anything else is sacrilege. If you have a Pokemon in a penny sleeve I swear I'll &*^*^^)(^%$$%U*&*^&)
So, who collects?

I have some guy named “Honus Wagner”. It’s really old so it’s kinda lame, but my grandpa gave it to me so I guess I’ll hang on to it.

oh goodness I haven't even looked at my collection for so long. I actually do have a couple 1952 tops that are in good shape. Nothing great though. Buncha rookies that are good but not great (mattingly, griffey jr, bonds, clemons...the usual gang of stuff folks like to hang on to). Back in the day I'd just buy the entire year in a box and leave it unopened. Sold those years ago though. I loved doing that. Go and drop a wad and have my mom and dad say "Why don't you open the box?" and Im' like "DUH!". I still have a box of Score 89 football somewhere with sanders and aikman and such...
HONEST TO GOD I bought a pack of those (the 89/90 score) in like 95. ONE PACK. It had BOTH of those rookies. I sold them back to the store for like a hundred bucks.

Big collector here. Must have around 80-100k in cards but I was always a pack buyer so 98% of what I have is commons
Collected a ton in the late 80's early 90's so have a lot of worthless cards like the 1990 Donruss Baseball and 1990 Pro Set Football.
I am usually trying to buy a lot of graded Beckett cards now especially up and coming QB's. I have some Russell Wilson, Luck, Josh Allen, and Sam Darnold, etc. Always looking for 9.5 overall graded.
Will have to get some pics up

Will have to get some pics up My collection is around 50-60k. I started at about 10 (1986) and haven't stopped yet. I've never collected for profit but have flipped cards when a seller didn't know what they had or needed quick turnover. My Dad and his two brothers are also big collectors and they have some heavy hitters in their collections....like some T206s and E98s. I've bugged my Dad for years to tell me what he has but he always laughs and says, "You'll get them in my Will." I started using COMC about 3 years ago to get rid of a lot of my Junk Wax era cards and have really been happy with them. I've now gotten addicted to online breaks and have been really fortunate in a few of them. It drives my wife insane when she sees PayPal tearing through our checking accounts.

I have a couple hundred at my parents house somewhere. Mostly just randoms purchased when I was a kid in the early 2000s. Should look through them to see if there’s any potential

I used to collect baseball and football cards as a kid back in the 1960's and '70's. Started when I was around 6 years old when my older brother's collecting caught my interest.
I wish I still had them. No idea what came of them after I left the nest. I had thousands of cards between 1964-1975ish. Some packs were never opened.

My brother is not a huge card collector, he probably only has 300 in his catalog but he has SIGNED ROOKIE cards of Mike Trout, Aaron Judge, Rickey Henderson, and big hurt Frank Thomas all in mint condition and framed.
Someday he is going to make absolute bank on these.

I have about 20k baseball cards from my youth. Been donating them over the past 15 years and writing it off on my taxes. Great way to get rid of old commons not in sets
