You know what, I'm done here. If you wanna be a dick to me, at least get your facts straight, because you have a lot of them wrong, just trying to make me look bad. I don't know what I ever did to you guys, but some members of the KEG can run around here and have their fun and be snarky about everything all you want. I have done as much as I possibly can to be as helpful and productive in this design community, but I'm tired of getting sh%$ on by some people. This will be the last contest I'm ever a part of here, so do all the pissin' and moanin' you want in the future, or hell, maybe volunteer once in a while yourself!
A) I was not the judge coordinator for the Major, and I did NOT assign that course to myself
B) My judging notes were constructive, and offered a full and honest playthrough of the course with hopefully no bias (my scores also reflect that I had other courses with lower scores than what I awarded to that course)
C) The designer reached out to me via PM to ask some questions, to which I replied and answered as much as I could... HE REACHED OUT TO ME!
D) "Designer Superiority"... really? So because somebody reaches out to me, and I kindly reply to them, and we organize a stream together, of which he was invited to and took part in voluntarily, somehow that means I'm better than him? So much for just trying to be nice and helpful (since you assume the worst of me)
E) The notion that those of us who offer to help other designers getting thrown back in our face as if we are some sort of elitists really pisses me off... what do you have to say about the KEG member that has helped literally thousands of people on YouTube? Is he part of that designer superiority?
And just in case you want to INCORRECTLY throw anything else in my face, I didn't judge your course, so I have no direct responsibility for you getting cut, and I did judge DHP, but I think I scored it higher than anybody, so yea, I'm a real jerk who clearly has an axe to grind.
There were mistakes made in the WCoD contest judging I do believe, so you are correct that I had a big problem with some of the results, and NOT just my own (IRONICALLY, I loved Pax, and had it advancing ahead of La Bombia). But what I mean by "correctly" is that we took intentional steps to hopefully make that not happen in the Major contest, for the integrity of the event. But oh no, since you are out, we couldn't have done that right, and so you have to try to call me out as if I'm being "ironic". As I said, get your damn facts straight if you want to throw me under the bus, even though your boys are there to drive it over me once you do.
As I said, I don't know where we all went wrong, or what I did to make certain members of the KEG have some kind of issue with me, but you won't have to deal with me anymore, I'm done with these contests. I'm done helping anybody who wants to get better (at the risk of being accused of acting superior), and I'm done thinking that certain people were actually friends, when they turn on you in a heartbeat.
Now go ahead and MEME and GIF your way to a good laugh at my expense, while people who worship the ground you walk on like ArielAtom like every post you make. If you're just going to accuse me of being a certain way or misjudge my character anyway, then IDGAF anymore!
