The good news is...
Back-to-back runners up in the WCOD and Major is usually an indicator that tremendous success is on the horizon.

Again, thank you all for the kind words. You all have been amazing to work along with. This is a nice time to celebrate for me due to the pandemic and how much has been canceled for me recently being a senior high school student. Graduation, Prom, Varsity Golf season, seeing my friends before I go off to college too. Not to say its rough for everyone but it hurts. This victory though not super important, has given me the boost that I needed. I again want to thank everyone involved. Truly an amazing contest. Thank you all for the messages. Ben, your course is out of this world. Spectacular. Lastly, my love for golf architecture has not only been rejuvenated but has made me immensely proud of what I do. I might be going to college for a possible phd in meteorology but this was a victory on the golf architecture side of me. Truly, truly amazing. Thank you, everyone! Very nice, what college/university will you be attending in the Fall?

Congrats Dylan - and looks like I had already picked the right course for the TST US Open

I think overall this contest went very very well. Obviously as with any design contest their was some drama and quarreling, but ultimately the community benefited from 24 great gems and I will say that the top 5 was pretty damn accurate in terms of placing those top 5 courses appropriately. Seems like the judging panel did great work in this contest. Cheers to all of you involved, whether you in the realm of designer, coordination, judge, or results show, etc.

This contest has also inspired me to make my debut in design contests once the 2K era commences in August. I'd love to win a design contest as I am so competitive, but its going to be a win-win scenario anyway because if I don't win the community will benefit as well.

Congradations Dylan. As others have said, we’ll done with the course. It certainly invoked that “old major” feel. A very fun course to play, and certainly one the most “real” feeling courses out there.
