It's a miracle Eric hasn't been eliminated yet in the competition, what a great design he conjured up....oh wait a minute.

Violinguy69 - I was also a judge for Waterway and am also fine with my full notes being provided to you. Though glancing at the sheets I think Eric and I basically had most of the same thoughts.
Same goes for the other 6 eliminated courses I judged.

It's all good. I'd love to see the notes, but it looks like the course's downfall was exactly what I have trouble with regularly - not hard enough. I was hoping the polish and tourney environment might get me into the top ten, but it wasn't to be. Thank you to all the judges. I've been there and I know how tough it is.

More cuts! Murder us

Okay, time to open some cans of worms.
I'm not a huge fan of plenty of the feedback I received after I got cut. I'm not going to be posting anything directly from those results publicly as all that should be private between me and the guys running the competition, and I think that every bit of criticism I received had good will behind it.
The biggest thing I didn't like was that there was a sense at times that there was too much use of opinion as the main basis for decision making (in other words, more willingness to favorably rate courses that are closer to a preconceived ideal for a specific portion of the judging guidelines). This is most obvious to me in discussion of what a good "major" course should be, and given that the same thing happens around real life major tournaments and that Mammadrouit was a standout case of the contrary, it makes sense and is something I expected to a degree. What I didn't like from the feedback I got was that similar logic was used to make arguments in just about every other category.
One particularly annoying argument that was made was that my choice to use relatively rugged sculpting around the fairways and greens was a sign that I needed to improve more with the tools, bringing with it the implication that smoother sculpting is by definition better. I spend usually at least 30-40 hours per course on sculpting alone and have spent upwards of 3,000 hours total in the past five or so years designing courses, and, with all due respect to the judge who made this argument, I'm pretty sure that that amount of work is going to allow me to improve quite a bit with the tools. Like I said, I know that this comment and all the others I received were in good faith, but the conclusion and the logic that led to it doesn't sit very well with me. Additionally, I don't mean to pick out that one example as something that the judge who said it should feel bad about; I'm very appreciative of anyone who do what they can to help out with these contests as they are some of the best things we do as a community. And, of course, I know that I could whine about the result until the sun explodes and nothing would come of it.
To sum up, I don't like some of the judges' opinions and that's okay; it sucks that I got cut earlier than I expected, but losing is just as important to being in a competition as winning. Also, I'm going to be designing with a big chip on my shoulder the next time I'm in a contest, and I don't plan on losing next time.

Jives, when all is said and done, I’ll happily give you a playthrough if Mammadrouit if you’d like and point things out that I saw. I’m sure others would do likewise.

When should we expect results? Starting to get some wrinkles on my face just waiting! And I’m only 18!

You know there's no age minimum for being a judge, right? Perhaps then you'd appreciate how long it takes. When should we expect results? Starting to get some wrinkles on my face just waiting! And I’m only 18!

Oh, so now we’re going to get them correctly? Sick. Correctly being a subjective term, naturally, as in your case, but what I mean by correctly is with thought and intention put behind it, rather than just throwing darts at a board. Despite that I personally really enjoyed DHP, I don't have any issues with the judging panel because I do feel that they acted 'correctly' in the amount of thought and time they put into the decisions thus far.
