Go to import terrain and features tab and there you can import the OSM layout.

So I've been working on a course for the last week, and I'm utterly lost now. I've done all the OSM stuff, and got the LIDAR that I need. I've been trying to import everything in the tool, and the OSM splines are not showing up when I import them and the Heightmap. All I get left with is a brown box of the map mask that I did. And looking at when I do the LIDAR import, it seems the Coordinates are off. For some reason when I import the LIDAR information, it puts the coordinates off in the Atlantic Ocean off the Carolinas. My course is in Birmingham, AL. I think I'm using the correct EPSG of 2759 but since the site isn't working I'm not sure. Any help is much appreciated. I've added pictures below on everything. ![]()  ![]() You just think you have the correct EPSG but you don't. What you have got is what happens when the EPSG is wrong. you will have to try other possible EPSGs. Are you using Chad's latest update, it supposedly finds the correct EPSG better than the version previously? |

If I don't force the EPSG, it tells me it can't find it from either website. I've used all the Alabama EPSGs from the 2nd site, and none of them work correctly. I'm not sure where to go from here. I've even tried different state EPSGs and random ones as well. |

I wish I had some other suggestions for you, but i don't. Judging from the import of the Lidar part of the data, that looks OK. The only thing I can think of is to find another course in the near area, like maybe one of the RTJ trail courses near birmingham, and see if you can get it to work. Otherwise I am stumped.

I've looked at all the Alabama codes, the only one that I think matches all the metadata co-ordinates is Esri: 102630...
I've no idea if that can be converted into an EPSG number somehow, unfortunately.☹️
Disclaimer: I'm in no way an expert at any of this lol.

I'm running into the same exact thing with Wisconsin courses...I've tried over 40 EPSG numbers and none work

when I ran into that problem I thought I was lost, the Chadtool didn't work, it couldn't find anything. I went to the folder which I downloaded and it was a text file and the data file. When I went to the text file I found the correct number and Chad tool forced it and it became correct. If there's only a .Las file but no text file its hard to find the correct number. (I am sure you allready know this, but just trying to help  ) |
