Played for the first time this morning and had an absolute blast. Made 4 birdies and an eagle to finish at +1 after making a mess of the 12th hole. I can't wait to take another crack at it tonight.

Oooh that was tough.
-1 from the tips, pin 2. Very tricky greens. Wasnt expecting such a tough challenge. Maybe that's why I started bogey/bogey. Shoulda been -2 really....hit a sw chip when I thought I was on lw. Oops.
Excellent course. Just great consistency throughout in all respects. Cheers!

Short clips a guy made in the thread over at HB, some cool aerials of 1-8.
Also, to quote RockManDan (not 1 official course, but 2): “ONE OF THE BEST COURSES IN THE GAME”
If you’re into that sort of thing.

Let's not be too harsh on pre-school art teachers here.

And if the preschool art teacher had two paintings in the Louvre.

Only a few holes in but I’m loving the course. Knowing that this was routed over a defined plot makes it even more impressive....

I was getting SF Club vibes from the first tee. I see the barranca (and obviously the name Pastimes) and saw Pasatiempo but I feel like the width of the playing corridors and the bunkering is very SF Club. Great track none the less really enjoyed every shot.
I turned in 29 and was feeling great before a string of pars and eventually a 4 putt on 18 led to a 65. I will definitely add this to my short list of favorites.

Perfect plot and three great courses have been built on it. I'd say this is the toughest of the three and probably has my favourite colours of them all. Another shameless bump for a Petty course.

Having just finished R1 over in Elite at Santa Ynez, I really need to fire this one and Montellago up again.
I see my comment from back in May last mentioned my shitty golf more than how good this course was, unfortunately!
