Enjoying career mode more on this game but one issue is that Justin Thomas wins every event! I know he’s the cover star but come on,let the others win now and again. Change the round and event deviation settings to the max levels in career mode...this will allow others to win some events, not just the overpowered licensed pros. JT seems to get the majority of the boost, but the top 12 of the FedEx Cup standings in default settings reads essentially like the list of licensed pros in the game. Read this for more info: www.reddit.com/r/PGA_Tour_2K/comments/ih6la8/i_simmed_100_seasons_of_my_career_and_heres_what/I have my settings at: CPU skill - 82% Event deviation - 40% (this is the max) Round deviation - 20% (this is the max) I get other names winning tournaments, and Adam Scott is leading the FedEx Cup race.

Practice bro, The more I play the easier the putting feel is to me as xEB50x blend123 and vegas310 can attest to. Also, tempo is not a mess it's just hard. Learn to manage a course know when to attack a pin or play safe and most of all get your scrambling down and you'll see your scores get lower. I shot my best round on XBX1 -14 Saturday, the course was easy but still you can get better. Exactly this... I'm not going to say PS4 isn't easier than Xbox, as I've never tried to play the game on Xbox... but the game is much harder this time, and some will adapt to that more quickly than others. One thing I know, is that the tempo, on PS4 at least, is not easy, but it isn't random. If you see the best players in the world shooting lights out scores on PS4 (Sloaner has taken to this very well for example, among a couple of others), well... they're the best players in the world and have been playing on PS4 for a number of years. Would they still shoot well on XB. Yes. Would they be as good... Who knows. I'll be really interested to see what data comes back from the societies this time. The tempo is not broken on PC or PS4 or Switch. Xbox I don't know because I have never owned one. Come to think of it I was getting a lot of random tempos the other night but I think that was down to drinking too many beers 😉

Yes got an update. No its not easier. These ps4 lot dont realise how lucky they got it. Bad tempo this bad tempo that hahaha give me a break! PS4 players will never understand that even though they will end up shooting "only" -25 through a four round event, it's still light years ahead an Xbox player shooting -10 on the same event. PS4 is an easier console to play on, end of story. It is just more difficult for them now because they're experiencing the random tempo Xboxers have had to deal with for the last two plus years. Not all PS4 players are shooting -25. If they are then I need to hang up my cleats bc I’d be the only one that isn’t.

This week I will put up some scores for the Platinum exhibition as I haven't done any yet. My problems been I get on after work and have been playing live matches.

Finally breaking par (albeit on easier courses with low winds) on PC using a vertical mouse, PRO difficulty. I doubt I will ever be able to compete in top 50 but I am happy I am not hitting +20 or more all the time. Biggest reason for doing better is I have my putter back and I try to get most of my approach shots to under 10-15 feet and if not a good/great putt, the other saving grace is I chip in more shots than one putts.
My biggest gripe right now is the rainbow of colors on most greens. I imported a course I am working on and in 2019 I loved the greens, in 2k21 ALL my greens on that course sucked. I have to tweak every one of them so as the ball will stay on the green rather than miss by 4 feet and have it roll 60 feet and most of the time off the green onto fringe.. I have not rated many courses above a 3 for that very reason.

Agree with that.
If you play max speed greens then some pin positions are unplayable on some greens at Riviera, East Lake and San Antonio especially.

A game of 2 halves
Gate crashed the game since i got it a week ago
had sense, did the training before i started , instantly knew the game was hard to play, so started on Pro-Am
on career mode , completed 1 and half seasons with success , but still i could tell my tempo etc wasn't right,
yet my best round was -18 in career mode after 1st season said my average score -11.44
so last night i tried playing on PRO, so i can play on tour and societies
oh boy, what a joke, went from shooting - 14 to going to 14 over par
today , i persevered and after a couple of hours, able to shoot 2 successive rounds -1
so decided to reset my career mode, this time at PRO and set the gameplay on easy for Q-School and Korn Ferry , just qualified for PRO tour and turned the gameplay up to normal level
spot on, as i won Q-School by 1 shot with a score of -1
gone from an easy to play to very hard to play
never played a golf before where i won't be winning every tournament
hacking my way round instead of fairway/green every hole

Keep away from masters :-)
I remember being so excited watching the testing chaps on their streams. It didn't look the way it plays unfortunately.
Be in a nuthouse soon . After stressful day I wanna relax....I say wanna

Here is the tourney I just finished a minute ago: Hmmm...that's interesting. I am assuming you're playing 4 rounds per event, too? I only play 2 rounds for the regular events and 4 round for the majors. I am just up to the "Legends Championship" major event - AKA, The Masters. Adam Scott is the FedEx Cup points leader with 3,150. Justin Thomas is second with 2,856, Bryson DeChambeau third with 1,995, and Patrick Reed fourth with 1,912. My character is fifth with 1,818. The last event I played was the Valero Texas Open, in which Denny McCarthy won with -12. I was in a three-way tie for second with JT and Marc Leishman at -6. The six-shot win was the largest margin of victory I've seen so far in the season. Adam Scott leads the way with wins, winning 4 times on tour already this season. BDC has 3 wins, JT also has 3. Reed has 2, and there are several tied with 1. Granted, it could be because I only play the two round events, but I don't see results like you have. As I mentioned, I am entering a major for the first time, and will be playing 4 rounds. So we shall see if that makes a difference or not.
