The only clubs in there that would make remote sense to include is the 1I, 2I and 2h - but the 1I should be a driving iron. It’s really only the 2I that is a bit strange they cut, but since the club attributes when it comes to hitting from rough are still messed up it does not really matter. 3I very possible from a rough lie where only the top of the ball is visible, still one of the games largest weaknesses. 2 iron is pretty common on higher level. 1 iron is uncommon and almost never made by manufactures. Hybrids and fairway woods comes in different loft, and numbers are not used. I think we will see irons do the same at some point, removing the numbers and using loft. Wedges all comes in loft. Nah, then the manugacturers can’t strong loft their clubs and market the “distance”..

Tiger won The Open at Hoylake with a 1i... didn't hit driver all week They are reasonably uncommon, to be fair, but you can find a number of them new and used if you try.

I play with a 2 hybrid in real life. My mate plays with a driving iron 1i. We both can’t replicate our club bag in the game. Slight shame that.

Did i see from the streams that you purchase irons seperately rather than in a set?
That's a bit lame

You get the set mate. That was a miscommunication.

Disagree. How many people you know have a real life 2 wood or 6 wood in the bag? Yes it creates the bigger gap, but now we have to think a bit more strategically. Maybe we have to lay up, pitch on and try to make a Birdie now. I'm all for it. I do think the clubs need a 5-10 yard boost in distance though. I had a 3 wood that went 227. Not really pro distances. I think most amateur golfers can hit their 3 wood further than that. I hit my 3 wood about 235 to 245 yards irl. No they don’t, a three wood that long is a sign of a very good golfer, most people can’t drive 240 let alone hit a three wood 200

I play off 18 and am one of the shorter hitters in my society. 280 is a good drive for me,I don't consider 235 (not carry distance) very long even for a mid handicapper for a 3 wood.

Handicap and distance are not correlated as much as you might think. I have never been a long hitter (200 yards is a good drive for me now) even as a youngster, but I have been as low as a 10 hcap. A lot depends on which set of tees you play from - some of us guys playing from shorter distances have 'caps in the 1 - 5 range.

Sad thing about the new game coming is that we will lose a lot of the good courses on the 2019 game Many good ones will be ported over and courses built in the new game are going to blow old ones away with the capabilities of the designer Hope so mate

According to HB_CraigC I just asked him about the clubs in Seamounts stream and I quote He said 1,2 iron 2w 6w 7w 2h 6h 7h are NO LONGER supported. That’s pretty poor, imo. Shame. Agreed, I’ve always carried a 2H in my bag. Just like my real life bag. Shame

I celebrate the pros on the career mode board, but I don't think they are tiger, phil and rory. a) Any other absent? b) Are they replaced by fantasy names? c) Can you create / edit them to join the Fedex list? Sorry for my English.

If anyone watches this video and doesn't preorder, I'll be shocked. Awesome job Andre
This way I enjoy the game much more! (similar to TrueSim), could you please detail the configuration options?

I was short with the long clubs but you get me inside 120 yds and I played like a scratch golfer. There are all sorts of ways to get around a golf course. Go watch Lee Trevino highlights. With that said this game is supposed to replicate what a Pro golfers average distances are.
