That bit of land looks awesome for a short course. The lower left corner is just screaming for a tee box

Some really fun designs have came out of this! I made a little pitch and putt for this but then didn’t post it after seeing all of the other, much more more thorough, efforts. If you want to give it a spin, it’s the ‘Wood Duck Backyard 13’. Just 13 silly short par 3’s with small greens and massive elevation changes.

Hmm... I'm intrigued. I've always wanted to recreate the backyard course my brother and I designed when we were kids in TGC (our yard was more like 1.5 acres than 30, but hey...)
Not sure when the deadline is/was (or if there is one) but regardless of if it counts towards the challenge or not, I'd love to give this concept a go!

Hi all. First published course here (albeit a couple years late). I took a bit of a different interpretation to "backyard" and tried to build something unique. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Started this course back in April of 2020 or so, stalled a few times, picked it back up, stalled again, and eventually arrived here. Satisfied with where it's at now. I think it will be a fantastic short-game warm up for PGA Tour 2K21 players of all experience levels. John and Sharry Brenton cordially invite you to enjoy the Back Yard at 124 Sone Creek Road.Eschewing the standard 380x380 yard dimensions laid out in the OP, I've squeezed 9 holes into a tight layout of roughly 85x65 yards. No drivers allowed. Holes range in length from a mere 28 yards (no. 2) to 76 yards (no. 9) on the scorecard. The golfer's touch on light swings will be tested with each tee shot. Please note that a broken window will disqualify the golfer from the annual Stone Creek invitational, held on Easter Sunday in the following year. Mrs. Brenton has yet to extend this rule to broken shingles, but course management would advise against testing her. The pool is in play, and is treated as a standard water hazard. The course record of 15 (!!!) strokes was posted by John's father Robert on a calm 2021 June evening. Can you beat it? Photos:
