Hello everyone. My family has a standard PS4 controller that came with the console and we purchased Microsoft’s PUBG controller for the Xbox, which I don’t believe would be considered third party, but I’m not positive. Anyway, I play my tour rounds on the PS4 and hitting a perfectly straight lined shot with good tempo is a consistent challenge, but the good kind. My father played on the Xbox today and I threw in a few rounds as well and the difference between controllers is insane. Nearly every single shot on the Xbox was perfectly straight with perfect tempo. I have enough rounds under my belt to know that it wasn’t just me. I’m wondering if this controller would be considered third party and/or would set off any API metrics. Perhaps this particular Xbox controller just has a stiffer joystick, but in any case, I want to be sure that playing on it would be considered fair play. Any insight from those of you who have both consoles would be greatly appreciated.

Interesting. I have 3 official Xbox controllers and they all play different on the game, none of them perfect tempo or straight anytime.
Sounds like it could set off API if its that consistent.

Have you tried it with the Master clubs? Same perfect tempo? Hello everyone. Good idea. I tried with the masters and that became a tempo nightmare. Shots were still straight, but my follow through was always off. Maybe it’s because I spilled sour cream on the joystick, but either way, looks like I’ll be sticking with the PS4, at least I know the mistakes I make on that are my own doing. Thanks for the input.
