Another approach is on whichever tour you are in, is have a look at the leaderboard.
You can hover over someones name and see their platform and player name.
Have a look for guys that are around your scores and on your platform, and fire off some friend requests.
If they accept, great, if not, that's fine too.
Eventually you build up something of a 'peer group' of guys that shoot about what you do.
