Heartlands Golf Club:
A choice of 3 tees & 4 pins await you at the gloriously picturesque Heartlands Golf Club. Lots of options & wind dependent risk / reward shots will determine your strategy whilst enjoying the stunning views across the whole of the plot painstakingly crafted for a truly relaxing & realistic experience. There are no bunkers on the course so consider replacing your sand wedge for an additional long iron as the subtle elevated terrain meanders through a myriad of waterways which, along with no light rough & several pesky pine trees hold the keys to the tracks main defences. The default settings for Heartlands Golf Club are:
Theme: Boreal. Atmospheric Conditions: Early spring, late afternoon, clear skies. Holes: 18. Approximate Length: 7350 yards. Par: 72 (4 x par 3, 10 x par 4, 4 x par 5). Fairways: Very firm. Greens: Normal. Greens speed: Medium fast @ 164 feet putt rating. Tees: Black 7368 yards. .…..... Gold 7081 yards. …....... Red 6738 yards. Crowds on course: Confined to the grandstands. Another nice course Simon, it does have a few of your signatures on it like the rock work at the water side, the trees that need a bit of draw or fade to get past and of course the testing greens. It reminds me of St Moritz in a way, I think it's just that certain atmosphere that you create with some of your courses. As I played through I knew it was bunkerless, but the way you designed it I don't think it was noticable.

Thanks for the feedback Pat ( Celtic Wolf )... I'd been thinking about doing a course with no bunkers. The hope was for unaware folks to suddenly realise part way round & say to themselves something along the lines of: "Hang on... not seen a bunker yet!!"
