The Golf Events in the 2021 Olympic Games, held in Dublin, Ireland, will take place at Enbarr Meadows Golf Links. The course is 50 km south of Dublin, near the city of Wicklow. About Us:
The naming of Enbarr Meadows Golf Links was inspired by the mythical creature in Irish Folklore, called an Enbarr. According to legends, an Enbarr is a horse-like creature who was known for its ability to travel through both land and sea. This course will require a quest across land and sea, and thus, the name was decided upon. The club was founded by Danny Byrne in 1908, and remodeled in 2014. The goal of the course is to provide a true, challenging links experience, while also traversing elevation changes and showcasing dramatic tee shots and hillsides. Course Information:General: This course is not recommended for those playing with pro clubs. It is playable with pro clubs, given the links nature of the course and lack of forced carries, but some holes will be unreachable in certain conditions. Do not be afraid to lay up when in one of the pot bunkers on this course. Some require a wedge to escape. Yardage: Par 71, 7538 Yards Course Conditions: R1: Wind Speed: High Wind Direction Northwest Time of Day: Dawn Weather: Overcast Green Speed: Fast Green Firmness: Firm Terrain Firmness: Moderate R2: Wind Speed: Moderate Wind Direction: South Time of Day: Dusk Weather: Rain Green Speeds: Moderate Green Firmness: Moderate Terrain Firmness: Soft R3: Wind Speed: High Wind Direction: Southwest Time of Day: Afternoon Weather: Overcast Green Speeds: Fast Green Firmness: Firm Terrain Firmness: Moderate R4: Wind Speed: Very High Wind Direction: Northeast Time of Day: Dusk Weather: Light Clouds Green Speeds: Very Fast Green Firmness: Very Firm Terrain Firmness: FirmTournament Notes:
Carts will be provided to those who are above the age of 65, or have medical conditions which compromise one's ability to walk. Carts may also be paid for, but priority will be given to those who have difficulty walking. At Enbarr Meadows, we pride ourselves in trying to create a viewing experience which is as accessible as possible, so we have cart paths that approach every grandstand (except for grandstands on 5 and 15 greens. The concessions areas are on the 18th hole and between the 5th and 6th holes. The course is also equipped with a driving range, a short game area, and putting green. As for lodging, we recommend that tournament patrons stay in Wicklow, as the course is in a remote area and Wicklow is the closest town. Hole by Hole Scorecard:

Just a couple other notes: I would love to hear your favorite holes and maybe some holes that could've been better. This is my first contest submission, so I'm still kinda getting the hang of this and any feedback would be super appreciated. Also, let me know if you think the tall grass is ok. I just wasn't sure what to do because the grass glitch in this game would mess everything up if I made the grass too short and it would look weird since I wanted a meadow style course. Is there any way around this? Thanks guys!

Did I do this submission right? I haven't been added to anything and no one seems to be saying anything so I'm kind of unsure here. Is there something else I need to do? Thanks!

Hi agrainger12, welcome to the forums. I look forward to playing your course soon. Unfortunately, we can't enter this into the major championship design contest because that contest registration had closed in February. The good news is, if you would like to keep designing, you are more than welcome to register for the Challenge Circuit Championship design contest going on. Just post a note on this thread to let mayday_golf83 know that you'd like to sign up: tgctours.proboards.com/thread/21900/2020-tgct-design-challenge-signup. Be sure to read the details so that you know when the publishing windows are for that one. My apologies that we can't accept this one into the current contest, but I hope you'll consider others throughout the year! Thanks!

Wait, but it says April 30th on the forum page? Indeed, that is the submission deadline for the contestants that registered during the opening, but this contest isn't currently open for new entries. Some of the contests, such as the Major and the World Cup, have a limited field, so once that is full during registration, the sign-up window closes. At that point, like in this case, the contestants have from February 1st through April 30th to finish their design projects and submit them for judging. This page features the designers that had registered to fill the 25 spots: tgctours.proboards.com/thread/22426/major-championship-design-contest-courses. The pictures of your course look very competent, so I do hope you'll consider registering for the CC contest and designing another course for that contest.

Welp, I'd love it if you guys could still play my course. Maybe play it like it's hosting the Open Championship or something.

I can even stream it sometime and throw some thoughts out there if you want me to. Have you submitted it to the TGC Tours database? That's another good way to get players to see it. www.tgctours.com/Course/Submit

Also, just a little note. Whatever course you'd enter for CC would need to be started AFTER you sign up. So, you could sign up for that one whenever you like, but you wouldn't be able to submit any works in progress. Thankfully, there's still a lot of time left on that one.

Oh ok, good to know about CC contest. Sounds like that's generally how comps work. Sorry for the inexperience! And thanks for the comments!
