Career hit #3,000!!!! Next milestone will be career HR 700. This has been such a fun career to play. Do you play every game or sim some? I’ve never simmed a game. I’ve played every pitch of every at bat in this career. But I do not field or run bases either. Those are boring and waste time imo. It also allows me to get a lot of games done in one sitting. Settings are default all star with all visual overlays turned off and guess pitch off. The original RTTS for this player started with MLB ‘14 and I’ve used the carry over feature for each release up to MLB ‘19 which is what I’m still playing to finish this career.

Man I gotta get my own character's stats in here, at 37 here with a fairly comparable spread here. Think he's at around 660 HR about halfway through the 16th MLB season

I could never finish a career, usually get bored after 7 or 8 seasons and then get the new release and start a new career. I bought Show20 few weeks ago and have a 3B who's still in AAA, maybe I'll stick with him until the end. I'm itching to start a franchise tho, maybe rebuild Red Sox....

It’s been a blast for me to play over the years. It was never something I tried to hurry through. It’s really convenient when I don’t have a lot of time but want to play something for a few minutes. I can get a series or two played in 20 minutes or so.
Really curious about what my Cooperstown induction may look like. I never googled it so not to spoil it.
Once this guy retires I’ll start a pitcher career and see if I can HoF him too while going for the elusive no hitters and perfect games vs AI on AllStar

Just a heads up that MLB 20 is on sale right now if you’re interested in upgrading to the latest version and not waiting to see if it shows up on Plus again this year. $13.59 for the base version in Canada, so probably about 10 bucks in the US.

Playing PS4 MLB20 on a PS5 is actually impressive. For a series notorious for some lengthy load times it moves pretty swiftly. The PS5 version of MLB21 should be amazing with even better load times and I'll assume that activities panels should allow you to load the game directly into whatever mode you want to play. RTTS has always been a great mode if you've just got 15 minutes to kill but I could see at least a doubling of the number of games you could fit in during that time.

Finding a PS5 right now is like trying to find a flying unicorn with 4 leaf clovers shooting out its ass. I bet i can get a covid vaccine shot before i can get a PS5.

So I've heard, but I can't say I've been paying that close attention to inventory levels for some reason. On the positive side of things, unless you're desperate to play the Demon's Souls remake you're not really missing out on too much right now. Well maybe that air of superiority you get from knowing you have a PS5 and most other people who want one don't.

Career HR #700. As mentioned before, no at bats were ever simmed in this career. I’ve played every pitch at the plate myself going back to 2014. This RTTS player is now 38 years old and in his 15th season. Coming after you next, you cheater Barry Bonds. There will be no retiring until your steroid ass is off that record book #763 Boom baby! (And F the Braves lol).

Started a new career with MLB 20 and I’m currently on the Phillies as well. Drafted by the Tigers in the 15th round. Called up to the majors from AA about halfway through my 18 year old season. Traded to the Nationals halfway through the next season and then traded to the Phillies about a month after that. It’s just over a calendar year later and they seem happy with me. The Tigers are well on their way to their third straight last place finish and the National’s are 4th in the division and trending downwards. The Phillies signed Noah Syndergaard, Dylan Bundy, and Kris Bryant as free agents in the offseason and we’re a comfy 10 games up in the division at the end of July and second place overall. Of the three teams I’m happiest with the Phillies but obviously biding my time until I’m free to jump to the Mariners.

Did my time with a few one year deals there until I could become an FA and go sign with my hometown Phillies. The year I started this career back in 2014, the career carry over feature had a few bugs where the player card jumbled some info like where I was born (says the Netherlands although it should say Philly). It also shows in the player card stats that I was on the Mets for a couple of seasons which did not happen. But if I go to Player Stats & Awards tab it has the career chronology correct. At some point I’ll log and post screenshots of that stuff. I’ve already pre-ordered 21 and plan to start a pitcher career there under All Star settings. The magical no hitter/perfect game at the MLB level is my #1 goal. #2 is bringing chips to Philly
