Not a huge issue at all, just noticed. Didnt even bother me, but I just did not know if it would screw up some deadlines down the road.

Our deadlines are UTC -5 which is to say that the deadlines don't change with relation to UTC time. While your local time changes in relation to UTC time because of daylight savings, our official times are still UTC -5 so it isn't changing.
