Welcome to The Black course @ Peytons Manor (PM). The black course stands at a mean Par 71 7312yds from the black tees this is the first remodel of the courses i released earlier this week as most of you know i published my major design course earlier this week along with 2 other courses the grizzly and the sunbear. The reason for the early publish was that i thought i had to leave out of town to take care of my aunt. Im not asking for the updated version to be judged for the contest but i wanted to prove to everyone that my course is worthy of being in this contest. This is the first of the 3 that i published and i am very excited to show everyone what I really feel is my best work to date this is the original sunbear course with upgrades to make it a tougher and more complete course. With reasoning behind why I have decided to remake these courses let me tell you a little backstory of the courses. This beautiful course is based about 100 miles out of Knoxville TN in a little town called Athens TN. This is the location where Pro football hall of famer Peyton Manning had asked myself to build two 18 hole Championship courses right on the outskirts of the Tennessee river. and now I have finally finished the first course being the Black course. the Black course runs alongside the Tennessee river. Holes 4,5,8,9,10,11,and 13 have the river in play. so i hope you like water cause half the holes on the course will test your accuracy with water in play. I hope everyone enjoys this beautiful course and please tell me about your round and how you did. Good luck and Try to have fun
#1 -
The first on the black course will be a downhill 447yd par 4. The best approach off the tee will be to carry the bunker guarding the left of the fairway to have a nice sight line for the approach to far left and you will have blind approach to an undulating green
#2- The first par three on the course is this slightly uphill 175yd par three. The tee shot will require a soft shot into the green with the back of the green sloping away from you but do not be to short with the 2 bunkers left and right front of this green
#3 - welcome to the first real test here at the black course this 489yd par requires a tee shot over the thick shrubary to have the best angle into the green. The approach to this tough green will take the best shots to leave here with birdie
#4 - the par 3 189yd will test your skills with different iron all throughout the week the pins can be anywhere in between 170 and 200 yds away from the tee so good luck
#5 - 441yd par 4 this suttle par 4 feels like a breath of fresh air but if you take this hole to lightly it might just crush your round as well
]
#6 - the 393yd par 6th don't seem like nothing that crazy until you get to the green the key to this hole is make sure you get the short club your comfy with and make sure you hit a great shot
#7- The 331 yd par 4 is drivable in the right conditions the overall concept of the hole is simple go for it if you dare
#8 -The 623yd par 5 is the longest on the course that will require three good shots for your chance at birdie this is one of best chances at birdie you will get on the course.
br]
#9 We go from longest to the shortest par 4 on the course standing at only 300 yards from green to tee but be careful the drive will reach out and get you if your not careful
#10- The 226yd par 3 10th is the hardest hole on the course in my opinion getting birdie here will set you apart from the average crowd the tenth also starts the hardest stretch on the course from 10 through 12
br]
#11 The risk reward 589yd par 5 is a good chance at either birdie or triple bogey its really up to how you play it so good luck and do not get wet
#12 the 496 yd par 4 12th is the one of the hardest holes on the course pinpoint accuracy is required off the tee the approach leaves you a long iron in to a elevated green get out of here with par and run
#13 the 454 yd par 4 13th gives you two options off the tee either hit left and test the water or hit right and test 3 bunkers one left 2 right the strategy on this hole is one of my favorites on the course
#14 the 457yd par 4 14th gives you all the trees you can handle the best line off the tee is to challenge the bunker to the right to have the best angle at the slighly uphill approach
#15 the 499 yard par 4 15th see you shooting 30 downhill to a well guarded fairway having to carry the big waste bunker or lay up in front of its your choice
#16 the 465 yd par 4 16th is the last par 4 on the course and its a doozy the famous principals nose bunker is right where you want to be on this approach to this uphill green guarded on all sides by bunkers
#17 the par 3 158yd 17th is the shortest hole on the course pinpoint accuracy is required here to very undulating 4 tier green
#18 finally the 548 yd dogleg left par 5 will leave you at a good chance at birdie unless you get to greedy
well guy there it is i hope everyone enjoys The Black course @ Peytons manor good luck send me your scores i want to see how well recieved this again thank you to everyone have a great day and stay safe.
