I told my wife I would post this in this community. Obviously since Cat Cafes are not an essential business, she has shut it down. She employs several part timers that rely on the small amount of money they do make. She is trying to provide "paychecks" to these young kids for the next couple of weeks. If anyone can contribute anything to her GoFundMe page, I know she would appreciate it. The part time employees that really need the money would appreciate more!
Thanks,
Kent Shaffer

I know it is difficult to even bring it up with the economy being non existent at the moment. Give it time and live will be back to normal!

you know you can get a loan that you don't have to pay back don't you? As long as you use the money to pay employees during this crisis, and ONLY for that, the loan turns into a grant. We've already applied for one. Its with your nearest SBA office.

Hey hope everything is going well! Not legal advice but she has already gotten the loans and advance? I know 3 months retail rent does not come cheap. It's good she wants to keep paying the kids but they would do very well on unemployment currently and she could save that money to pay other obligations. I am currently working part-time from home and still collecting partial unemployment. I'm making more now than my regular hours and still getting all the work that needs to get done. I'm sure she's already figured something out even talk to the landlord and see if there's anything they could do to help her survive.
Hoping she is allowed to open up soon!! I know here in CT they are targeting June 20 for inside restaurants with restrictions. Really hope things turn around. I can't imagine the difficulty of running a small business during these times.
