Wasn't even necessarily saying to remove Figured as much but it is early morning here... That's my excuse and I am going to stay with that, unless I get more fall out, then I will 180 it and rage quit my news sources.

Was trying to decide if I needed to moderate the F.A.U.C.I. post, then there was a "bozo president Chump" post, and then a fun story about the Titanic. LOL
Ah hell, how do I even keep up? Haha

Haha If you had to, this thread would read like those declassified cia reports with a bunch of lines being redacted everywhere.

Very true, and my role as a moderator isn't to silence anybody's opinion in here, so I have to be careful that I'm not deleting anything that could be construed as me directing the narrative. Since those posts were ultimately just mildly offensive to the political figures they were aimed at rather than somebody on these forums, I left them alone.
GIFs and MEMEs can be damaging in both directions. ;-)

BEIJING (AP) -- While China appears to have reduced coronavirus cases to near zero, other infectious threats remain, with local health authorities announcing a suspected bubonic plague case in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Authorities in the Bayannur district raised the plague warning on Sunday, ordered residents not to hunt wild animals such as marmots and to send for treatment anyone with fever or showing other possible signs of infection.
Plague can be fatal in up to 90% of people infected if not treated, primarily with several types of antibiotics.

Arizona healthcare workers told Business Insider they're worried that the public is not taking the coronavirus outbreak in the state seriously.
"I think there's a lot of denial," Dr. Sandra Till said, adding that some people don't think it will happen to them, or if does it won't be severe.
Dr. Bradley Dreifuss also told Business Insider he thinks the state opened up prematurely, without having proper testing, tracing, and isolation protocols in place.
Arizona now has the worst per-capita outbreak in the US, with 49.9 daily new cases per 100,000 people, according to the Harvard Global Health Institute.

Just found this through a link on twitter and have no idea how legit of a site of it is as it's based out of England... www.england.nhs.uk/statistics/statistical-work-areas/covid-19-daily-deaths/But if you go down to weekly deaths on the 3rd tab it shows the following death totals for covid only in the UK (no known significant pre-existing conditions) Age 0-19: 3 deaths Age 20-39: 32 deaths Age 40-59: 255 deaths Age 60-79: 551 Age 80+: 477 Total:1,318 (28k+ with pre consisting conditions) Maybe I'm reading the tables wrong or this site just makes up its own numbers but it's quite the disparity between the deaths for people with prior conditions. (not getting at the other deaths don't matter)

I will add too, that my friend who works at a hospital said that approximately 60% of people with no preexisting conditions who have died have been 75 years old or greater...so if you are younger than 75 with no preexisting conditions the likelihood of death or even a severe case of covid significantly plummets.
