-12 in practice and -7 in first round. Every week, never fails.
The course is what it is and everyone is playing it so whatever. [But flatten the tee boxes. No one should have to hit into par 3's on sloped tee boxes.] Edit: they don't

Just for reference - non-flat tees have zero effect on shots (even though the animation can be affected). Strange but true....(but still lazy design)

Played pretty good.
-9 -9 -13 -8
-39 overall. Made two "mental-error-bogeys" and missed a handful of makeable putts. Could have been a real good tournament for me, 'cause some bombs dropped. -45 would have been possible. Well, it shouldn't be.

They do. This isnt the first course like this. I'm working on a lidar course; first play through to see how the course played all the tee boxes needed fixing. They absolutely affect shots. Edit: they don't

No, they don’t. Shots off the tee have zero lie effects, whether by percentages or slope; nonflat tees are an issue with aesthetics only. Source: Roughly 3000 hours in the designer.

Played, sucked and didn't enjoy myself. Probably wouldn't have played if this was a normal event. Shot something that I'm sure won't make a cut. If there isn't a cut then I'll play it out, if not, I'm happy to move on.

You're right I f*** up. They dont. I had done a very rocky/hilly lidar and thought bad tee boxes were messing with the tee shot. I just set up a red sloped tee box, straight fairway, hit a straight shot and it went straight. Source: the game

Not a big fan of this course. Only practiced round one and even with some of the shorter holes, many of the pins are placed right after a bunker and on a severe front to back sloped green. Talking about slopes, I don't think I have found a flat spot on any green. I think the VF greens/speeds is a little bit much for this setup.
Designer here. You're so very welcome. In all seriousness, grateful for the PGA spot this week. Hope you guys enjoy. No holds barred fellas! Course is uniquely visually stunning. And the green complexes are a tough challenge that grab your attention and make you focus. Keep up the creativity in future courses. 5 stars easy.

-8 -9 -12 -9, -38 total iirc. Difficult track this week, hopefully a top 20. Maybe top 15 as a push, sitting 6th on PS4 early Tuesday. Good luck.

staypuft39 5-2-1...looks like someone is sticking around longer than they thought! Crushing dreams with a 5 shot swing in R4 to take it by 2 strokes! (-37 to -35) Cecil Harvey 1-0...I'll keep track of ours as well - my strong R3/R4 helped win this match too (-37 to -29)

Unfortunately my L1 stopped working mid-rd 1 so we'll have to make a change for next week 😬 Gonna be an interesting one. Well played Doyley, looks like a really good week for you 👍
