They just released a new BR Solo mode that is pretty fun, keeps the action going. As long as you have $4,500 you'll keep respawning. However, it doesn't really feel like a BR anymore so I'm pretty conflicted on it.

The more I've played the less I like it. Besides just needing the 4500, money is way easier to find and collect so it's like the first 10 minutes don't even matter cause there's almost no fear of not coming back. There's already tdm for the people just like running and gunning without a care so not sure why they felt the need to turn the br into it. I'd probably be okay with it though if you didn't start with any money and it wasn't so easy find. Really hope they don't stick with this format for too long. I'm with you, I think the overall CoD community is starting to influence this BR since CoD has always been about that run & gun gameplay all the streamers and most players really have no patience with camping. Hell not even camping, if you're in a building looting and happen to see someone outside running around and kill them...you're a no life camper. You watch a streamer, they hunt some bounty down and drive circles around the building then get pissy when they eat an RPG. @josiadb, idk whappened with that quote lol, that was just supposed to be my post but I guess I quoted you, deleted your message and filled in my own?? Odd, I wasn't even drinking last night lol Couldn't agree more. If you're not running out in the open right at someone to a 50/50 gun battle you're playing the game wrong. Started a game the other day and had to take a phone call so ducked behind a desk in a building. Within a minute and half there had to have been 6 or 7 different people running in fighting and dieing. Was hiliraous. Hung up the phone picked through the mountain of loot and was on my way. Might be my new Strat lol. |

I always say, the goal is to be the last man standing how you get there doesn't matter except what's fun to the individual. Some people just want to make it to the final circles when the intensity steps up but they're still going to have to do some looting (money for loadout) if they really want a fighting chance and then some just want to run and gun which is cool. I'm somewhere in the middle I think although I wish I had the skill to run and gun like some people. I'll never seriously b%& about camping in a BR, the threat around every corner is what makes BR so fun.

I guess a classic BR mode is coming. Which means no respawn no buying anything. Which will be cool. I did like the solo BR mode with one chance at coming back if you won the gulag. The stimulus solo mode is horrible IMOP. I respawed about 5 times and thought why would they call this BR lol. We should have the classic option and the old way it was and then stop messing with it.
And how the hell do we not have duos?

I haven't really gotten into the Apex Legends and Fortnite but apparently they rotate game modes often. I am getting tired of it though, they'll bring this classic BR and I'll enjoy it then it will just be yoinked from the game after two weeks for solo plunder or something. Duos will come (rumored this season) and it will jsut get yoinked for stimulus duos after a couple weeks. |

Usually a lot of us on 10:30-11 EST on most nights. But you can often find one or two of us at other times. I play mornings 9-12 EST on the weekend. Some of the guys will play mid to late afternoon (eastern) during the week. |
