And these scores rolling in just further exemplify how much of a joke this game is becoming. Perfect Golf can't get here soon enough. It's no fault of TGC Tours as these guys do great work but HB has cornered themselves in with how they coded things and some of their head scratching choices. You can see why they worked hand in hand with EA on several different games. I can't blame the studio for anything. Small group, small budget. Put out a hell of a golf game for a retail price of $35. And they continue to support which means a lot to me. But this isn't the place for this discussion, don't wanna hijack

Some will always be better than the majority. Just a fact of life. HB works under the philophsy of creating a great game for "everyone", not a game that would be hard for 10% of the player base and in turn lose the other 90% because it's just too frustrating. That's why we here at TGCT created TOURS and not a TOUR. We want to cater to the different skill sets.

So across all 26000+ rounds in our database -- the average score is 69.3. So in my humble opinion -- they pretty much nailed the balance between difficulty and fun factor.

I will say that I feel the courses for the top tour should be a bit more difficult. This one was just way too short. Beautiful course with creative routing, but way too many pitch shots for approaches leaving tap in birdies.

Anyone else hit a 9-yard chip 66 yards thru a tree? Just me? Oh, I thought so! Cost me dearly I do say! (I forgot to set LW back to chip...) I blame the tree for not slowing your ball down!

Yes, this course is easy -- but again -- everyone gets to play on it and has the same opportunity to go low. Even on the real tour -- they get "easier" tracks to play on that they can go really low on. We will continually be evaluating our course selection process to make sure we are always providing the players with a fair balance of challenge, fairness & fun. Remember, we are only 6 months in and we by no means will get everything right this first time around. Our goal is always be improving everything we have to offer and continue to provide the best online golf community that we can.
Thanks! Tim

My comment was meant to be an observation rather than a criticism. And again, it is a spectacular course. I think the way you've set up the tour as a whole is phenomenal.

I figure as more quality courses get made, the schedules for each tour will balance out and everyone will be playing fair, well designed courses across all Tours.

That's why we here at TGCT created TOURS and not a TOUR. We want to cater to the different skill sets. Great response. There's always going to be a select group of people that just "click" with anything and that's just how it goes. The problem arises when people are playing against those elites every week (like in the PGA here) and the only thing that grabs their attention is the low scores because that's what they have to try and aspire to in order to win. This game has a few minor (don't even want to use the term because of the negative connotation associated with it, but) glitches (92%, squirts, etc) and yeah, maybe the ball doesn't react like you would expect when you lace 'em up and head on to a real course, but that kind of gives it character, and at least HB has an excellent forum for support (and actually responds to your questions and concerns) and puts out updates and patches with improvements regularly. Plus, if that's not enough for you, at least you didn't buy what amounts to 60% of a game for sixty bucks and then had the rest of it sold to you in four twenty dollar DLC packs...looking your way EA

WOW! Tough crowd. lol I gave it a go but my first and third round let me down. 61,57,59 and a 55 for a -56. Hoping for at least a top 20. But doubt it. That was fun playing an easy course just to see how low you can go.
