I tried to get as close to perfection as possible. Calm winds never above 6mph, played all 4 rounds consecutively within 2 hours time. Basically, the only holes I didn't birdie were because I drove the ball into the bunker plugged off the tee or missed the false fronts/ridges near the hole leaving me 30-40 footers. And the devil 297 yard par 4 where I got caught in the shrubbery by the front bunker and scrambled for par. Basically, don't be tempted to drive the green. You can't hold it with the way the green is angled and the bunkers and shrubbery short. Reminds me of the 10th hole at Riviera. Pros love or hate it. I feel that if the designer added 800-1,000 yards of length to this course and moved some pin locations around, this would be a much different animal. Attachments:

Round 1 was a big disappointment at 12 under 60. Not really sure where it went wrong but I missed some relatively easy putts I was making during practice.
Rounds 2 and 3 I recovered with a pair of solid 15 under 57s.
Round 4 I went a career low 17 under 55. Should have even been better than that because I missed a few make-able eagle putts and "automatic" birdie putts.
I was not nearly as tense this week as I was for the Cadillac. Seems I may have got some of my mojo back.
Finished with a total score of -59.
I really think that the winning score is going to beat mine by 8-10 strokes.

As you can see on Disturbed's post, I started terribly, so terrible in fact, I'm not sure if I'll make the cut.
I was only -9 through 23 holes, and then I birdied 42 of my last 47, including back to back 56's on the weekend rounds (previous best was 59).
Definitely struggled the first two rounds, I lipped out 6 putts in my first round that went at least 90 degrees around the hole, then just sucked to start my second round. Once I got rolling though...
Going to be some super low scores this week.

Just finished all four rounds. First 3 winds averaged 8mph and last round was a timid 5mph. Went 57, 59, 55, 56 for a -61 total. Not good enough to win but I am proud of it.

Great scoring Andy!
I managed to post a respectable total......for me. -52 doesn't seem very good to a lot of you but for me it's my new tourney best.
R1: 58 (-14) R2: 61 (-11) R3: 56 (-16) R4: 61 (-11)
In these low scoring events i need to eliminate those 60 rounds to be able to compete with the better players. It's mainly my putting that is letting me down. Can't ever get four consistent rounds going and even if i get two good ones (like this tourney) there is always average ones in there too. Im guilty of playing the so called easy holes very badly sometimes, for example the par 3s on this course weren't very hard but i could never seem to get it close.
Im happy that i managed to set a personal best of -16 for a round (in a tourney) but on the other hand i knew it was nowhere near enough.

It's really hard to play four rounds and average in the 50's no matter the course. Not to mention that you are improving and if you keep at it I'm sure you'll get to where you want to be. Good news for me is after a few weeks of seemingly being lost in terms of my game I managed to find it and I think things are headed in the right direction.

Not sure where it went but I really think playing harder courses with fast greens helps to get my head recentered. Nice work matching my 55.

I had up and down rounds. The final scores might not reflect it, but it was a battle that could have had me shooting 55's or 65's.
For example, second round featured this shot:
Third round had this gem:
Several puts lipped out or slid by when I was expecting a break.
Finished the 4th round with a pitch in from 43 yards out to finish -50 for the tourney:
RD 1: 60 (-12) RD 2: 60 (-12) RD 3: 59 (-13) RD 4: 59 (-13)
Slightly worried that -24 won't even be enough to make the cut after seeing some of the scores on PS4 through 2. Might have to sweat it out
