Hey rjwils30, any chance this one gets ported over to 2k23? This is an all-time favorite of mine.

Avery Fields T? Tough course never felt comfortable over any shot. Great job. That’s kind of what I was going for when designing it. Awkward angles and slopes. It’s actually a bit of challenge to go against the intuition to make things feel comfortable. Haha.

Man, this one looks gorgeous with the updated graphics and textures in the new game! This is a tough course that I always return to when I want a challenge! rjwils30, you should absolutely design more courses with this old classic parkland style!

I’ve been working on a new course the past couple of weeks that’s inspired by The Country Club which is perhaps the quintessential American parkland course. Still a ways to go though.

Not that I ever disliked this course, but it never quite resonated with me in the same way as some of your others. Just played two rounds here in Gdog's Happy Happy Joy Joy society (well worth joining!) and I totally got it this time around. Loved the use of doglegs to require shot shaping and there's a few holes on here that are all-world - always loved the par five 14th with the creative use of the river and the par threes were a much stronger set than I had remembered. As ever with your courses, the thing I always take away is that I can be bolder with my designs, even when I think I'm ramping things up!
Cheers for the port.

Thanks Ben, Glad you enjoy it this time round. Is it the new game physics that make the course resonate with you now? As I’ve stated previously it’s one where I consciously tried to go against my design intuition in order to make the course feel less ‘designed’ and composed. This is especially tough with narrow fairways as I tend to like the feel of wider fairways visually.

This course is a proper b**** in the new game. Somehow made it to -11 without any bogeys and there was maybe 2 shots the whole round I felt comfortable with
