I was looking into doing Milwaukee CC, a well regarded classic course and ran into the following problem: The course area has good Q2 lidar data, but it is in large blocks. It takes three blocks (.laz files) to get the whole course in the plot, but the course itself is pretty compact. Thesse files are about 300 Mb each. I got a correct EPSG for the area, 2289, but when I try to run chadgolf 's tool on all three together it takes the first one and then says the other two are not valid Lidar projections. It will take each of them as separate files though. Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if so how did you solve it?

Nobody ever responded with any suggestions as to why this problem occured. Heck I even started contributing to Chad's GitHub account in hopes he would respond but no joy ; so I was forced to solve the problem myself because I really did want to do Milwaukee CC. LasTool to the rescue! After an incredibly steep learning curve I managed to reduce the areas encompassed by the two individual Lidar files needed from about 300 Mb each to under 100 Mb each. Chad's tool had no problems with these two files so I am good to go! Lastool is an amazing resource, but I hope I do not need to use it again soon

Excited to see this once it's finished...I live in the Milwaukee area, and would love to play there someday.
