Had the opportunity to go around a few courses tonight in my free time that I've had on my list, so I took to the 1st tee of The Daville Club at 7:00PST for a twilight round. I thought the setting was fantastic and the holes along the water were particularly memorable, such as 2, 3, 4, and 15 for example. I enjoyed the 3rd hole a lot because there's a great mental battle engaged when you want to go for the green in 1 but you know a fast downswing puts you in the ocean. LOL! I found the course to be an adequate challenge on master clubs because the fairways are pretty thin, especially in windy conditions (I had 20mph on average tonight). The lighting you chose really worked well because it was bright enough to see everything and the shadows weren't bad, and it looked very good glistening off the water.
Things I'd look to improve on are sightlines both from the tee and on the approaches. Some of your fairways are completely blocked from the tee, and sometimes standing in the middle of the fairway gives the worse look at the green on certain holes. I also felt 'distracted' by the planting scheme, because the ferns, random rocks, and some of the grasses did not seem natural at all. I would recommend not using the autogen planting unless you're able to "clean off" the areas where those plants don't make sense (some of the views off the tees had grasses or plants right in front of the tees in view, which I don't think a course would do). Although it's a retentive issue of mine, I know some people don't really care about making the fairway to green transitions look natural, but thought I'd point out that those need work if you're somebody who focuses on that. I'd like to see more fuzzy brush used in the sculpting around the course, as some areas look too severe to be realistic, such as some areas where the guy mowing the first cut of rough would be riding a mower tipped at a pretty steep angle, and some bunkers that would experience a lot of sand wash. Outside of the randomness of the planting, the sculpting was the only other thing that took me out of my round a bit.
Overall a good course that I think people should play if they are looking for tropical designs to play, of which there aren't as many as other themes so it's always nice to have another one to try.

I thank you for taking the time to play my course. I appreciate your feedback. Sight lines..... well I wasn't designing for true sim so that didn't really factor into my design. And I believe every tee shot has a view of the fairway and are make-able, if you shape your shot, but that is just my opinion. Looks at the greens are bad if you are in the wrong position. Autogen planting, yes, I cleaned some of it up, but yeah, it is a course for my society crew to play and I was not going to be to obsessive about every tree, bush or blade of grass, but that's just me, sorry it took you out of your round. I am glad my mower guy is an expert in his field. He has never fallen off his mower or had it tip over! He actually thanked me for not having unrealistic, severe 80-100 foot elevations changes. Thanks again for the play and for the feed back. Have a great day! Be well and stay healthy!

“Thanks for the feedback” - now let me have a defensive rebuttal for everything you say. Two could play that game, judge 1. 😉
Was just trying to help your designs, but clearly you’ve got it all figured out. 🤷🏻♂️
I’ll stick to the unrealistic fantasy courses I guess. 🙄

What point did I miss? I took the time to play your course and give honest feedback in your thread, including the good things I saw. I didn’t once mention anything about WCoD, but you replied with a defense to all of my feedback, and then took a cheeky shot at Hallstatt. So again, tell me what have I missed?
